The Cork Tree in Palm Desert is my absolute favorite restaurant in the entire Coachella valley - Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, La Quinta - best of them all. It's the place I take visitors and where I go on special occasions because it never disappoints. The food is near perfect: flavors are exquisite and multi-layered, perfectly prepared and seasoned. Atmosphere... More

Took a recommendation from a close friend and it did not disappoint. The food, drinks and service were top notch. Could not have asked for a better meal. Will be back for sure

I often go to these higher end restaurants in the summer in the heat when they offer their summer specials. The staff, service, decor, all very high end. The choices and delivery lovely. They have a summer special. 3 courses. It would be nice if they would add one more appetizer and a fruit alternative for dessert. Our food was... More

A local living in Palm Springs for 30 years told us to try this place. The duck confit tacos were fried in old oil, the cesar salad had NO flavor, the mushroom ravioli was the worst I ever had. The asparagus tips were not tips at all, but stems and tips, the tomato compote was horrible, and I couldn't taste... More

We happened upon this restaurant and were welcomed though we felt under-dressed. We had a beautiful and romantic setting on the patio. The soup trio was fun with excellent flavor, the beet salad and breads terrific and our entrees excellent. Service was perfectly attentive without hovering. A great experience that we would easily repeat.

Trendy atmosphere, but still pleasant and friendly. Very professional service My southwest corn chowder starter and smoked ahi tuna entrée were outstanding, as was my husband's marinated duck breast with wild mushroom risotto.

Gorgeous food, excellent staff and great cocktail and wine menu. This restaurant receives accolades for numerous reasons...and those reasons continually bring us back.

One of the best restaurant experiences we've had in the area. Food and service were terrific and we ate on the patio which was perfect.

Although located in a strip mall this restaurant is far from that once inside. The main dining area is very cozy and pleasant, the food is varied and great and the wine list extensive. Our only complaint was that the a/c was too cold but the hospitable staff corrected it for us. Would definitely go back.
