Small place with great atmosphere. The Sweatbreads were fabulous, as was the sand dab special. I love the little tub of pate served with the bread and butter. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Go tonight!

We have loved Chez Pierre for many years and it has become a regular spot for special occasions for us. We went on Nov. 23rd, 2014 and were not disappointed. Parking is ample and free (valet service is available). Part of the charm of the place is that the owner/chef is always on site and makes a point of checking... More

The menu is eclectic: sweet breads, liver, duck, hanger steak, duck etc. We started with escargot and had several different entrees. Hanger steak, liver, sand dabs. The restaurant is small and tables very close together, hard to have an intimate conversation. The liver was well prepared, the steak was excellent, the sand dabs cooked well but had too much sauce. The Apple tart was a... More

We have loved Chez Pierre for many years but had not been for several years due to distance and schedule. We went on 10/4/14 and were reminded how wonderful it is! Truly a unique experience to get to talk with the chef. The specials are amazing! We started with the complimentary bread and pate which was delicious! Then we had... More

This is a great little French restaurant in Palm Desert where you are greeted by the owner/chef (Pierre). Food was excellent and so was the service. Chef Pierre also checks to make sure everything was just right.

We visited Palm Desert for a week at the beginning of June and just happened to be there during Restaurant Week where a number of establishments participated by providing set menus for a fixed price. We wanted to try a French restaurant for a change and selected Chez Pierre from the menu and also based on a relatively good review.... More

I made a reservation for 3 for a Birthday celebration. it was a busy night for them and the person making the reservation kept switching the time around while I was on the phone which made me a bit nervous but I did get the reservation. When we arrived to the restaurant it was full and found they had reserved... More

Consistently good traditional french bistro food. We have been a couple of times to this charming, inviting restaurant. The pepper steak is very, very good as the frites than come with them. The salads are delicious and quite large; we have had the endive and the frisee. The service is attentive without being intrusive. Really good food in simple bistro... More
