We visited Palm Desert for a week at the beginning of June and just happened to be there during Restaurant Week where a number of establishments participated by providing set menus for a fixed price. We wanted to try a French restaurant for a change and selected Chez Pierre from the menu and also based on a relatively good review.... More

I made a reservation for 3 for a Birthday celebration. it was a busy night for them and the person making the reservation kept switching the time around while I was on the phone which made me a bit nervous but I did get the reservation. When we arrived to the restaurant it was full and found they had reserved... More

Consistently good traditional french bistro food. We have been a couple of times to this charming, inviting restaurant. The pepper steak is very, very good as the frites than come with them. The salads are delicious and quite large; we have had the endive and the frisee. The service is attentive without being intrusive. Really good food in simple bistro... More

About two months ago, we joined friends for our first meal at Chez Pierre. I was impressed by the inclusion of a pate with our bread as well as butter. The restaurant is small but inviting complimented by the chef visiting to ensure satisfaction. At that meal, I had escargot as an appetizer and duck as an entree. Both were... More

The new location is great. Everything is well-done: excellent service, sophisticated ambience and magnificent food. And all this costs big bucks, so be ready with your credit card. Pierre himself is very much present and attentive, so the experience feels very European, very personal. The menu is extensive and every dish was presented perfectly. No improvements necessary. Just remember to... More

Be SURE and make a reservation, as this restaurant is a local favorite. Chez Pierre is owned by Chef Pierre and his wife who is the Main Hostess. It is not a large spot, perhaps 25 tables. Be sure and take a look at the nightly specials which are on a display board right at the entrance. They offer the... More

I will write a review for this lovely restaurant next week. But just wanted to let you know you should change their location. They are now located at 74040 Hwy 111 & Portola, Palm Desert right next to the Chop House. Phone is 760-346-1818.
