The best thing on the menu was the walnut shrimp. I will miss that dish but nothing else. I never did like the manager and her attitude.

Ihave been enjoying this restaurant for many years after moving here from L.A. and dining at some pretty great restaurants downtown. It was my favorite Chinese restaurant in Palm Desert. I esp. liked the honey walnut shrimp, which was tender yet crispy shrimp with a honey glaze & whole walnuts served on a bed of lettuce. Unique & wonderful. There... More

Very rude and bad attitude ,not baby, kid or human friendly .. We went there with our 15 month old. She was a little cranky when we entered. The server gave us a seat. Then a rude Chinese lady (probably manager) came to us and asked us to order a TAKE OUT instead of DINEIN since our baby was crying... More

The owners are very rude and when we mentioned they got our order incorrect , they began to argue with us and demanded we pay for the item even though we didnt eat or want it - unbelievable! They must be depaerate for money and have never heard of the Nordstrom customer service where the customer is right and admit... More

Our kid friendly hotel recommended this restaurant so we thought it would be great. Unfortunately, after we got there we realized it was not kid friendly AT ALL!! When they saw that we had children they ushered us to a table that would not even accomodate us - our infant (in his carseat) would have to have been placed on... More

My family and I were here a couple of weeks ago, and the food was solid. The menu doesn't have any of the special dishes you would find in China, or anything, but their bread and butter stuff, i.e. Mongolian Beef, Sweet and Sour Pork, etc. were very good. What was surprisingly good was their egg foo young. I don't... More

11 of us went in on a Friday night. We should have walked out when we saw that the place was empty. The server started making suggestions - nothing extraordinary. We ordered a few extra dishes - egg foo young. The food was mediocre. When the bill came with tax and tip it was over $500 - $47 per person... More

While on vacation in Palm Desert, we stumbled upon one of the best Chinese restaurants we have ever eaten at (and this includes 13 years of living in San Francisco!) The cold salads were great, the beef in the various beef dishes was incredibly tender and I wanted to take the recipes for the pan fried scallops and butterflyed shrimp... More
