The fish taco is why you came. And it is worth it. This location easy to find in a shopping centre. Helpful cashier. Decent prices. Not much more to say than go and enjoy.

On Sept. 19th 2014 the young man who was obviously in training could not make change for a hundred dollar bill. After offering me many ones, I opted to use a credit card. I admit I was distracted with my 8 mos old son and stupidly never asked for my $100 bill back. After I got home I immediately realized... More

True, Rubios pioneered the Fish Taco concept - but many others have "perfected" it. Now that Rubio's has gone Corporate Franchise, this means your portions are now metered by High School kids and centrally-processed. When a "Mexican Restaurant" charges you for chips and salsa...it's time to return to your favorite Hole-in-the-wall joint. Baja Fresh serves a healthier, delicious grilled Wahoo... More

Great service and many healthy alternatives for a casual place to eat. Quick, good food and reasonable prices. Clean, good ambiance and the people behind the counter are great. highly recommend.

Honestly, for the money, you cannot beat Rubios! Their blackened mahi mahi tacos and chicken salads are made fresh, to order, and are absolutely delicious. I've had Mexican food all over California, and I'd choose Rubios over other, more expensive places. You can even get a cheap Negra Modelo or Pacifico beer to go with your meal! Yum!

Best fish tacos and street tacos I've ever had! We checked Trip Advisor for the best Mexican Restaurant in Palm Springs that was affordable. There were plenty of great reviews of Rubios. We followed the directions there and found ourselves in a mall and the restaurant was a fast food joint in the food court. Great food, but terrible atmosphere.

I was walking the mall in search of something different for lunch when I came across Rubio's. I ordered the Mahi Mahi Tacos. They were absolutely delicious! The bean dip and chips were really good. They give you fresh lime slices to squeez onto your tacos which is great. The salsa bar is nice too. I will go back here... More

Great place for a small lunchtime meal. Food was prepared very well (I had a steak burrito), with a decent sizable portion to hold you well over into the evening. Prices were very reasonable for the proportion. I highly recommend.

They're specials each month have fish, shrimp or lobster tacos and they are scrumptious. My favorite dish is their Crispy Orange Shrimp salad. It's a great meal with.

The Palm Desert location is in the food court of Westfield mall. In the past, it has been just a notch below the Palm Springs location. Being in the mall food court can be tough but I sense a change for the better. Their original fish tacos are excellent. I used to favor their blackened mahi mahi tacos however, they... More
