Pacifica is our special occasion restaurant in Palm Desert. I have never had a bad meal there. Outside dining along El Paseo can provide a quiet venue to enjoy friends. Inside is a bustling trendy atmosphere. Their Chilean Sea Bass, White Fish, and Salmon are all excellent. On Tuesday nights, bottles of wine are half price.

We were in the El Paseo area for the afternoon, so decided to meet at Pacifica for dinner. It was a worthwhile choice! The restaurant is upstairs above the shops of a corner building. We did make a reservation and just as well. It was definitely busy and some delay with service but we were not rushing off anywhere, so... More

We had eaten here a mfew years back bur now we live here abd wanted to try it again. There were several fresh fish dishes on the menu and we chose the oysters for an appetizer and the trout for the main dish. i liked the oysters but wondered why every oyster was completeely free of it shell The trout... We went here for happy hour as a local lady suggested it. It was full of locals and that's always a good sign. The glasses of wine were a great size at only 5.00!! The appy selections for happy hour were great too. We had the fish tacos and the prawn tempura. We would definitely go back one night for... More

We asked to sit outside, even though Palm Desert is like a blast furnace. Pacifica has misters so it was actually very pleasant. We were given our choice of where to sit, which was very nice. Pacifica is above one of the shops on El Paseo, so the outdoor patio overlooks the street and the mountains in the distance. Service... More

We dine at Pacifica often. The food is great and the service is excellent. They have a menu with a variety of seafood options. As you might expect the meat options are limited but good, it is after all a seafood restaurant. The cedar plank salmon is excellent. They also, have a very good happy hour. If you are into... More

Had a wonderful dinner - Salad which was yummy and a great entree (mine was the Breast of Chicken, served over Mashed Potatoes with Spinach) and my husband had the Salmon. Both were really delicious esp since the early bird special was only $19.95 for the 2 courses. My husband had a glass of House wine and I had a... More

We enjoyed the happy hour food but I felt there was a fairly limited selection. Felt the drinks were not much of a bargain. Maybe next time I will try dinner.
