Pacifica is a wonderful place. It is visually pleasing, comfortable, with professional and efficient staff. We sat outside, overlooking El Paseo. We went with friends to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary. Our service was excellent with even the manager pitching in. We received a little mise en bouche (seared ahi on wasabi mash) after we arrived and a tasty bite of braised short ribs on mashed potatoes. The entrees were delicious. Everyone was extremely well pleased with the evening. And even... More

The upscale atmosphere is satisfying. However, the sea bass and catfish my family and I had were fairly mediocre and forgettable. The specialty cocktails were interesting though. Be sure to make a reservation for weekend nights because the line gets pretty long.

My husband and our best friends from LA went to Pacifica on a Saturday evening to celebrate my birthday. Even though we are Palm Desert residents this was our first visit and it will not be our last! We arrived at 6:20 for a 6:30 reservation and were seated immediately. The ambience is high energy but soft lighting. We were... More

My wife and I flew in from snowed-in Massachusetts and were in the mood for a cocktail and some light dinner. We chose the Pacifica from the reviews on TripAdvisor and were not disappointed. We did not have a reservation so we chose to sit in the bar area and were seated immediately rather than wait in the line forming... More

Decided to try Pacifica based on trip advisor reviews. We were not disappointed. We started with medjool dates appetizer. It was very good. Then we had a greens salad that was also very good. Our main entree was the salmon for two of us and the crab Louie for the other two. Both items were very tasty. Would recommend the... More

We have dined at Pacifica on several occasions. We enjoyed the Tuesday half price wine special as well as the early bird dinner with an appetizer and main course for about $21. Service was excellent. Our waiter was fun and funny as well. View good. Good parking in the rear of the restaurant area.

My family of four enjoyed this restaurant very much. We made a reservation for outdoor seating and received our request. We had chicken, seafood, and meat dishes and they were all delicious. We also tried a few desserts (creme brulee and apple strudel) and they were very good. Service was good (but they were a bit overwhelmed) and the atmosphere... More

Multi visits for dinner at Pacifica over the years. Got a table for four, even when very busy. Very noisy. Food quality just average. Has slipped a bit. Good parking to the rear of the center.

I sent back three steaks, each of which was brought to me by a different server from the one who had originally taken my order. I am diabetic and can eat no carbs or sugar, so I asked for no sauce on the steak, and for no salad dressing, just some oil and vinegar. I asked the server for a... More
