It is a welcome change to find a restaurant that attempts to make pizza in an authentic manner not the north american stereotype. Reasonable in price, cheerful and always busy. Worth a stop.

If you make a reservation you should ask to be seated in the open air area. It has a roof but the outer wall is open to the street. We ordered takeout from Piero's based upon a Yelp review. It was excellent. Portions were large, food was good. Sauce on meatballs and spaghetti was one of best I have had. Fried artichokes were great. Cannot comment on service because we did take-out, but place was very busy.

Great casual restuarant on El Paseo. Thin crust pizza is one of the best around...you also have to have a side of the meatballs...yum. Great food, great wine, great prices. It's lively and just the right size. Nice enclosed patio for year round dining.
