Legacy Chinese Food is owned by Thai people, but they do a good job of Chinese food. It's kind of tucked behind Starbucks on the southwest corner of Highway 111 and Monterey/Highway 74. I've been to China Towns across the country. This not only is the sole place to get Dim Sum in the Palm Springs, California Desert area, it's probably the best I've ever had including San Francisco China Town. It's in a small shopping center. We ordered takeout from Legacy Chinese. It was cooked quickly and service was good. An order of egg drop soup was a bit different from the traditional style with lots of chopped fresh vegetables.
