The idea of Villagio comes from a marriage between time and place; the old neighborhoods of New York City and the abundant plains of California. What California brings to the table figuratively and literally, is its abundance of fresh produce, fresh starts, and the opportunity to reinvent. And so it was with these two places and time in mind that we set out to build a restaurant that would meld the two. With pizza dough made from scratch, hand stretched and cooked in a traditional pizza oven, our proprietary pizza sauce and the freshest of ingredients, Villagio invites you to dig in and enjoy our food, our warmth, and our relaxing ambiance. A place where old world tradition, meets new world freshness.

Great Service, Good Food

Nice Menu, good ambiance! All the elements are there. We enjoyed every dish; the Tomato Basil Soup, the fried calamari and the Villagio's Italian sandwich. Good wine selection and prices are not bad at all. No wonder this place is always busy.

Three of us went and we went specifically for the Linguini and Clams. We have had it many times before with the Garlic Bread and both are the best ever.

Well, we've been here twice. I give it 4 stars because my husband's pizza was fabulous both times. Mine - the margarita and I had a goat cheese/caramelized onion one - were soggy. The service was terrible both times although the waiters are friendly....just took forever...anyway, try the NY pizza...

This place is nothing special, except for the food. The food is exceptional and the service was very good. They were accommodating to all requests. The food was nice and hot, the way we like it. Their garlic knots that they brought out were great. We ordered the lunch make your own pasta and that was plenty of food. A... More

Really not a lot you can say about this place. Very average service, average food. Waited a while as well. The food is always what's important to me when I write reviews, I don't mind bad service if the food is great, so three of us had pizza which was ok but as good or bad as any I've ever... More

Took granddaughter and her husband to dinner here. Love this place. We were here the last time we were in Palm Desert in November. Always busy but we seem to get a table quickly. Staff is great and the food is always been good and not expensive. Want pizza in Palm Desert this is the place.

I ate here for lunch with my husband and two children. Despite the restaurant being almost empty, we had to wait a few minutes for them to clean a table. Service after that was slow and inattentive. The four of us split a large pizza. The pizza itself was quite delicious, but the prices and our overall experience left us... More

our first visit to Villagios. It was decent. Service was a little lacking for water refills. The salad was ok. The pizza was pretty good. We could have a conversation and hear each other. Not top of the list, but we would go back!
