Consistent, good food in nice atmosphere

This was our second visit and came through again. Both times here, we have had a wine by the glass recommendation we liked so much we purchased bottles for home. The menu selection is quite varied, something for everyone. The food is consistently good and service consistently friendly. There is a... read more

Reviewed this a couple of years ago when we enjoyed two visits during our holiday. This time we were rather disappointed. We were given a poor table and the service wasn't great by US standards. The food also seemed to have gone down hill from what we remembered. It seemed to have reverted to the slightly over elaborate "fine dining"... More

we were there for valentine's day dinner. it's probably the most profitable/important day in the restaurant business other than mother's day. we had a waiter who didn't know the price of the prix fix menu for valentine's day special, how many oysters it came with, and didn't ask how my husband liked his steak when he took the order. it... Liked the idea of buying wine at retail for dinner and paying a five dollar corkage fee. And the restaurant and shop are pretty. Cat say much about the food, regrettably. Husband had tasteless grouper and I had flimsy portion of overlooked skirt steak over sodden greasy vegetables. A major disappointment.

Friends who had eaten there before loved their experience and wanted to share with us as we were visiting Palm Springs for a week. Initial impression, nice atmosphere, a little on the noisy side. Quickly seated, polite hostess. Sat in a booth. VERY tight quarters. Could not find a place for my feet without hitting other's. Sat very close shoulder... More

I go with friends to the bistro for happy hour several times a month. Although I have never had dinner here, I can say that their happy hour is really good. There are many wines to chose from by the bottle or glass. We particularly like the flat bread pizza and their salad on the happy hour menu. You can't... More

Lively, excellent food, great wine selection. You can look around at their wine shop and select the one you'd like for dinner. I recently gave a party there and it was perfect.

This unique restaurant was fun to experience. We first picked out a bottle of wine from a large selection in the restaurant and then sat down to have a great dinner at a table that' was set in part of their wine racks. Good times.

During our 5 night stay in Palm Desert we went to four different restaurants and to 3rd Corner twice. It was the best we had and surpassed every other place. Besides being a unique kind of setup with the wine shop in restaurant the food is great. You start by picking your wine for dinner by strolling through the 5-6... More
