almond croissants, pain au raisin, macaroons, the croissants, the Madagascar, , the macaroons in over 24 flavours....all of these are more than worth the drive to this traditional French bakery located in a strip mall with the unlikely and incompatible neighbours such as Marshalls, Target, TJ Maxx, and the other usual suspects...incompatible because this is no chain affair, there is... We were not impressed when we drove up to the restaurant - suburban strip mall blah. But looks can be deceiving. We came for dinner and everyone ordered something different. Their menu has lots of variety and the meals come with vegetables (delicious!) and potatoes (delicious!). I had sole and the piece that I was served was so big I... More

3 of us came for breakfast. Service was quick & efficient. Refills came when our coffee cups were 1/2 full- nice to see that. I had the croissant sandwich which was pretty good. One of my clients had the hash & said it was one of the best he'd ever had.

Have been going there for years. They have the best French Onion Soup in Palm Desert. The service is good and the atmosphere is charming.

The arrogant owner sets the pace for this place, doesn't care about his customers, I sat there yesterday for 15 minutes, no server, no water, nothing. I asked him to help, and he started arguing with me. Life is too short to experience this kind of poor service when there are so many wonderful restaurants in the Palm Desert area,... More

This little cafe tucked at the corner of Desert Crossings is a gem. We use to think it was just a bakery, but it is so much more! Lunch favourites are any of the crepes, the salad nicoise and if you have room the Madagascar dessert which is a work of art to look at...but the decadent dark chocolate and... More

Last night we had dinner (again) at the French Corner. We try to visit at least once every two weeks. The Filet of Sole is outstanding prepared in a butter and white wine sauce! It is served with French Onion Soup and a delicious au gratin style potato. If you have enough appetite, order the Montrachet salad. It comes with... More

(This is four stars compared to other sandwich shops and similar places...not all restaurants. I compare apples to apples if you will). We stopped by here on our way from Palm Springs to Indian Wells. It's in a strip mall and may not look French, but it is. We had sandwiches and soup. The place was crowded but the service... More
