Every time we go to Pala, we eat at this restaurant. The atmosphere is calm and wonderful. We have always had excellent service there. Bread is served immediately, and it's delicious. Our favorite meal is their lasagna, just so tasty! I also recommend the spinach salad because it is very unique. It is certainly a nice place for dinner.

I saw the prices and "reservations recommended"...so, figured that this place had to be good, high end, gourmet Italian. WRONG!! Salad $11.00...A few greens, slices of canned pears, a few stale tasting walnuts, three very thin slices of avocado and a drizzle of some tasteless citrus vinaigrette....forgot the blue cheese...a couple of crumples. It was DRY and tasteless. NOT worth... More

We were there on Father's Day so it was a bit busy. Our server was very attentive, offered suggestions and checked on us regularly. That was a big plus. What was disappointing was the food. Everything started out great. The bread & butter for the table was delicious. They provide an olive bread with a pesto/garlic butter spread. Yummy!!! Then... More

The servers are extremely friendly and willing to please. The wine selection, not bad, not great, but not bad. The atmosphere is the best at the Casino. That is why I continue to go in there, hoping that the food would have improved. I did speak to the chef de cuisine, and he acknowledged some of the issues. But food... More

the lamb chops were to die for. There was not a bad dish, the pasta was terrific, steaks great, buffalo mozzerela was the best I have ever eaten any where in the US.

That's right. Not spaghetti and meatballs, but spaghetti and one 16oz meatball!! The spaghetti was perfectly al dente, the simple red sauce was very tasty without being the usual over seasoned marinara like most Italian restaurants, the meatball was perfect. My friends ordered the Ravioli of The Day and one of the Veal offerings. All our meals were most excellent.... More

This is our second time here. The lasagna is amazing. All the pasta is made here and ingredients are made fresh from non-canned goods. I had the spaghetti with Italian bacon. Great combination, just like our family makes it (Italian family of course). The Primavera pasta was fabulous. Fresh vegetables and al dente pasta are a must. Well, this is... More

Mama's restaurant in Pala Casino has a great atmosphere. All the waitpersons and bartenders are friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The free olive bread that they serve to everyone is the best. My favorite is the Tuscan spinach salad. My husband has to have the lasagna almost every time---he says it's the best he's ever had! Be sure to try this... More

For example, their scallopini, when the main chef is not there is thick.....it does not make any sense.

Home made pasta and a great wine selection. Does one need more? Only word of advice- ask to be seated away from the food service bar.
