Saw this place on Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives and decided to stop there on our next road trip. This place was great! The BBQ is full of flavour but not too smoky. The chicken was very moist and the hot sausages were awesome! I would drive back here just for the corn bread muffins! The only thing we don't... More

We watched the DINERS, DRIVE-INS AND DIVES show with Guy Feyri and were so excited to try it! This definitely fits the dives part. It was a dump! Brisket was dry. Ribs were ok. Beans and rice were a sloppy mess. Don't make an extra trip to go. It's more a dump than a dive.

Pulled pork was dry, ribs were tough so terrible, but brisket was pretty good. Mac and cheese bland, potato salad pretty good, corn muffin pretty good, beans and rice terrible.

Delicious barbecue and ribs. You may have to wait in line to get your to go order from the train-car-turned-bbq-joint, but its worth it. There are no inside tables, so be prepared to enjoy eating alfresco or to take away.

Perhaps my expectations were set too high. My standard for BBQ is Big Jim's food truck in Parker, CO. But, having watch the episode about Gorilla's on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, I was ready to be impressed. I ordered the take on the Philly Cheesesteak and it was well done, but the smoked meat was "OK". Of course, his BBQ... More

It was all good, but the ribs were better! Good sides, the other items like brisket were good also, but the ribs, wow the ribs. The BBQ sauce had to be the stopper though. Great taste in the ribs alone, but the sauce had it all (If you like the vinegar approach to tangy and spicy!). The line is sizable... More

If you like lots of smoke on your meat this is the place. Ribs, Chicken, links - they've got it all. (if you like your ribs saucy go right next door and get their ribs to go -- split up your party, get what you like and meet in the picnic area to share it all!)

I don’t know why Gorilla receives such high reviews – other than the fact there’s no other BBQ in Pacifica. The food is okay at best. I had a three meat plate (shared with my wife and her family) of pulled pork, brisket, and links, and two sides of coleslaw and mac and cheese. The pulled pork and links were... More

Always nice to be able to brag about a local spot. Gorilla Barbeque has a fantastic pulled pork sandwich. They load up a delicious roll with gobs of smoked pork. Don't look for fat...because you won't find it. Their sauce is of the vinegar variety. If that's not your favorite, no problem because they deliver it on the side. The... More

Maybe I was there on an off day but this was the worst bbq I have ever had. The brisket was dry and fatty and the mac n cheese was very dried out and tasteless. I'm afraid to give it another chance!
