Best Italian I've had since my in-laws used to live in North Beach in San Francisco, I was just craving some pasta with tomato sauce, not a dish that people usually rave about, but I am going to rave about this one! Home made pasta, home-made sauce, a dollop of creamy cheese, alltogether, amazing. The panna cotta still has me... More

Nice little resturant with good atmosphere, space somewhat tight though. Waiter was courteous and friendly. My wife ordered the Garlic Squid and Prawns and I had the Bucatini and Clams, full order $19 each. They do offer 1/2 portion for $14. While the taste is alright, the portion suffers. The plate was large like 12" dia but the portion is... More

We stopped here on a whim and were very pleased with the experience. The food and service were both amazing. It is a little pricey and the portions are rather small, but the food is incredible. The ambiance is very nice as well.

It was a foggy night in Pacifica so we checked out reviews of restaurants close to our hotel because we didn't want to drive too far. Barolo's looked like a good choice and it was. I loved my Little Gem Wedge Salad with Gorgonzola and toasted walnuts! Then I shared the evening special, Braised Lamb Shank with polenta, with my... More

We arrived late in Pacifica having driven all the way from Yosemite Park the same day. When I checked the reviews around the area (grim indeed), I decided to give Barolo a try. Boy was it a surprise!! Although we got there when they were beginning to shut down for the evening, the manager, Don ushered us in and energetically... More

The food was very good. All six of us with varying diet needs were quite happy. Best lemondrop martini I have ever had. Good three-course dinner offers and wonderful food.

From the outside this restaurant looks really basic but it is nice and cosy inside. The service was excellent and the food too!

Pacifica is all about the view but if you want a great night out with equally great food. Barolo is the place. Its not a large restaurant so allow time if going for dinner between 5:30 and 8:00. They trend toward Italian but with a California twist. We ate at the bar and had a great time with the Bar... More
