Yes, I had some of the same thoughts as Joseph and almost did not climb the stairs to the dining room. What a mistake that would have been. This was truly a fine dining experience in every sense of the word. Obviously the view as you sit facing the Pacific waves against the sea wall would be enough for many... More

I was skeptical of this restaurant when it was selected for dinner after a nearby swim meet. After all, restaurants with spectacular views sometime have good food and service, but usually not--since they can sit back and get customers with the view. So, strike one. It's in a hotel; strike two. The hotel is a Best Western (in the US)--not... More

I have previously reviewed this restaurant, noting the significant improvement since the new owners have taken over (approx 3 years ago). During the past two weeks my wife and I have had repeated meals at Moonraker. It is certainly the best eating place in Pacifica. Breakfasts were solid and tasty at reasonable prices. The pig-out brunch buffet on Sunday morning... More

We had a drink in the lounge. The view of the ocean at sunset was spectacular. The had a band that was OK, nothing great. The menu looked high priced so we did not eat here but enjoyed having a drink here.

Attached to the best western lighthouse hotel. Overlooking the beach. Has a bar and a separate dining area. Food was excellent. Service was very good . A little pricy but worth the treat.

We went to the Moonraker for happy hour and had appetizers and drinks, intending to dine later. I had the crab cakes and Caesar salad which were both delicious and in fact it was enough for a meal. My husband had shrimp which was also delicious. It was very busy in the restaurant as there was a football game on... More

Went to the Moonraker for our 15th anniversary because we wanted to be on the ocean and have a special meal without breaking the bank. Went early for happy hour the sunset. - $1 oysters were a treat! Small but satisfying. -Crostini with burrata cheese was very tasty. Would definitely have it again. -Husband had their special margarita which he... More

Great view and delicious food. We sat overlooking the Pacific Ocean for dinner. My wife and I shared an appetizer of beer battered coconut prawns and an entree of 48 hour beef pot roast with mashed potatoes, bacon bits and carrots. The bread was warm, the service was prompt and good and the food was fantastic. Breakfast the next morning... More

Ate breakfast and dinner here. Both were excellent. Happy hour had oysters for 1 buck a piece and they were awesome as well. Its not like they skimped on the presentation just because it was happy hour or they were a dollar. Service was excellent with many different people helping each other out getting plates and refilling glasses. Would definitely... More

On Labor Day weekend, it took 2 1/2 hours to get dinner. Luckily the food was good, but not sure it was worth the wait since there were other things we wanted to do that evening and ended up spending most of our time waiting.
