The best breads

I am at Pavel's every week for their super Farmer's bread. This 3-seed 9-grain delight is the best. My boyfriend and I stopped by this bakery on our way from Monterey to Big Sur. The reviews I read beforehand weren't lying-- this place is amazing! The chocolate croissant we ordered was honestly the best I've ever had. The service is also great-- even though the line was out the door, the people behind the counter were fast and... More

If you like great cinnamon rolls and other delicious breakfast pastries, then you will be in heaven. The cinnamon rolls are huge. You can split it in half to share and still be full. It's a busy place so get there early to be sure to get your pick of goodies. The owner is usually in the back baking and... More

Wonderful Bakery, in the middle of Pacific Grove,CA. Great pastries, doughnuts, cookies croissants, any wonderful breads and coffee. Limited seating outside in front of the bakery. Be warned when they sellout, which happens, they close.

This is a charming spot that knows exactly how to deliver the goods. It's cash and check only, so come prepared, but the prices are great and the food is delicious. Try to make it early in the morning because once an item is gone for the day, that's it. My favorites are the chocolate croissant (a giant, flaky croissant... More

Great prices, yummy baked goods. The coffee was better than expected. Be sure to stop by and sample some goods when you are visiting Pacific Grove! I wish my daughter and I had stopped here before our big hike to pick up a sandwich!

We picked up two fruit-filled pastries for breakfast and a cinnamon roll for later. All three items were excellent. The selection of sweet backed goods and breads were outstanding. They also serve sandwiches made on French bread that looked really tasty. I am sure we will revisit this place several times before our visit is over!

I've never seen such huge croissants, donuts, cinnamon rolls. The blueberry pastry was great and so was the huge chocolate croissant. Definitely have to share. Took home the olive bread loaf and that was fantastic.

The farmer's bead is the very best we have ever tasted! We always get a number of loaves and freeze them to take with us when we travel. The pastries are irresistible. Our favorites: berry and cheese Danish, chocolate croissant, cinnamon raisin brioche, and almond bear claw. Get there early to avoid disappointment!
