Great atmosphere

Went out for dinner and a movie with my husband. We live and work in PG and this was a great date night restaurant. Friendly and quaint. The food was great, too. I had the lobster ravioli and the taste was as beautiful as the presentation. I can see adding Victorian Corner to our regular rotation... read more

Had a major craving for some eggplant parmigiana but when I went in for lunch, I discovered they don't serve that dish for lunch or ANY pasta dishes for lunch... What kind of Italian restaurant doesn't serve pasta at lunch?!?!? Had the "famous and fabulous" clam chowder which was WAY too acidic by a country mile... The eggplant parmagiana sandwich... More

We are here on a rainy day and loved the clam chowder. That's the star of the show. Everything else was OK, but the chowder was excellent. The staff were very nice, omlette good, BLT good, calamari steak sandwich was good. All in all a nice lunch.

If you only get one chance to dine in Pacific Grove and want some real world true Italian food this is it. A wonderful experience from the moment you walk in,you feel like you are home. The setting could be a small Italian kitchen somewhere deep in the heart of Italy. The service is remarkable, warm friendly and very attentive... More

We went for breakfast and ate the huevos rancheros and spinach delight omelette, both were tasty. The huevos had homemade salsa and the omelette was very fresh. The waitress was very attentive with coffee and water. There also appeared to be many regular customers. We did not feel rushed and enjoyed or breakfast. We will come again.

My husband and I ate breakfast here a few weeks ago and were pleasantly surprised. We really enjoyed talking to the friendly Sicilian owner about his town in Sicily and the fact that one of the members of Il Volo grew up in the town next to him. The old photos inside are fun to look at, and the huevos... More

When in Monterey you will find it difficult to find a parking space near most better restaurants, so drive about 3 miles to Pacific Grove and enjoy this delightful place. Plenty of parking at a lot within a 1/2 block, Great service, friendly staff and excellent dinners. And by the way, some excellent wines by the glass. Prices are moderate... More

We came here for Breakfast today. The initial impressions were good. The building has been around for quite sometime and the walls have pictures showing what Pacific Grove used to look like long ago. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. There were a couple of tables filled with regulars enjoying themselves and sharing stories with one another. The menu offered... More
