One of many stops on our birthday vacation of the central coast of California. A warm day, many people, so many places to see on cannery row. Stopped here by chance and due to limited parking in the area. Archie's American Diner was a stop we made for a quick bite to hold us over until dinner. This place is... More

What a fantastic find. This has to be one of the most genuine American Diner's I have seen on the West Coast and it certainly won't be our only visit. The service is excellent and the portions plentiful. The staff are very helpful and we even went home with an Archie's t-shirt, which I believe are very rare. Get yourself... More

The diner is located on the quieter end of Cannery Row, next to the Outlet stores in the ATC building. One person was on the till, so it was a 10 minute wait to give our order and then 30 minutes before it arrived at our table. The sandwiches (sand dabs and tuna) were both very good and the prices... Half of our party liked this place for Breakfast. They ordered chicken and waffles. The other half that did not like it and ordered omelets. Canned mushrooms were awful and the eggs were not cooked properly.

Nice stop after a walk along the coast. Their prices are cheap and they have a great assortment of draft beers! They have a nice amount of outside seating too!

The food was ok (burgers and fries) not bad but not the best I had. Service and price were reasonable but the location was nice, not far from the center of things, but still a bit off to have a quiet break.

Archie's suffers because it is near First Awakenings and does not have all the great outside seating. Do not let this deter you. If the line at FA is too long, go here. The service is very prompt and the breakfast food is very good. Plus, they do have about five tables for sitting outside. I usually stop here about... More

To start with, the diner was not full, was not busy. The breakfast we had was great. My wife had egg whites and bacon. I had their Cancun Omelet. Real good omelet. Service on the other hand, was a little off. Our server forgot one order of toast and my wife's potatoes. She had to go up to the serving... More

We went there w a buy one get one free coupon from entertainment book, then found out they had new owners who wouldn't honor the coupon, they did give us 15% off instead. Garlic fries were good, chili burger wasn't so good tasted like canned chili, didn't come w onions or cheese, total for chili burger, garlic fries and a... More
