Just off the main drag

Steady and reliable Mexican food with great flavors and lots of different hot sauces around to zip it up if needed. Popular with locals.

I have been wanting to try Peppers out for some time but it is usually so crowded that getting a table for one is difficult. Three of my friends and I decided to go there for lunch during Car Week. We thought we'd have to wait for a table but upon arriving there were plenty of tables available. The waiter... More

Had a taste for Mexican food- evidently a local place to come- from Carmel, Monterey and PG- it was packed on a Sunday night! Food was very good and generous portions! Would come back again!

Busy place, especially weekend evenings where booking in advance is a must as the place is extremely popular with locals. Well worth it though as the food is good and prices reasonable. Varied menu but mostly Mexican fare.

Terrific stop for lunch! We had the swordfish tacos and they were delicious. Also had the chicken taco and that was good too--good size portions and delicious meals!

I've dined here many times. Nothing fancy about it. Popular with locals. Never a bad meal. Just simple good food which is why I return. Margaritas are delicious. Very noisy so conversation can be a challenge and gets very hot inside too.

We ate at Peppers following the recommendation of the receptionist at our B&B. We were very impressed, the food was fantastic. The best we had on our two week journey in the States. And the price was very reasonable. great service, great food, what more could you ask for.

6 of us tried walking in on a Sunday night and the wait was too long. Made a reservation for the next night and it was well worth the wait. Nice atmosphere, delicious food. Make sure to plan ahead and make a reservation.

This Mexican restaurant serves imagined dishes unlike your typical meals one would expect. The sauces are delicious and unique, and being by the ocean, they offer several seafood entrees. It is a very lively place, and has bartenders who have been there for years making killer drinks. Delicious food and strong uniquely flavored drinks" Si si. You can even get... More

Great food, fast friendly service. Convenient to Cannery Row. Parking on the street. Locals came here as did visitors. Our food was presented well and served hot.
