I asked the waiter what the difference was between the two burritos on the menu and he said the Mission District Burrito was the "super burrito". He wasn't wrong - one of the tastiest meals I have ever had! Just wish I had a bigger stomach so I could have finished it all :) Friendly service, good value, bachata music... More

Where to start?? The seating is not cramped, the ambiance is casual and the staff is friendly. The food is absolutely wonderful. The starter chips and salsa were fresh and appetizing. The margarita were very tasty. I ordered a Beef Burrito with rice and beans while my wife ordered the Beef Taco and Chicken Enchilada. We are not talking ground... More

This is a wonderful Mexican-themed restaurant in Pacific Grove. We wandered here from our B&B and found it very inviting. Even though it looked very busy, the found a spot for us fairly quickly. The food was great (I had fish tacos). Service was prompt and friendly and we left quite happy with our experience.

The gazpacho that my wife had, despite the server's assurance that it not spicy, was in fact too spicy for her and did have a bite. My "Southwest Sausage" was saltier than I like, but the salsa in which it was smothered as well as the rice & black beans were quite good. The jicama in the salsa was a... More

Not the typical mexican restaurant. Varied, interesting menu items; fun, classy, comfortable atmosphere; and friendly service!

The food here is average US inspired Mexican fare. Not bad, but nothing special. The room is pretty big so the noise level gets pretty loud. The beer is cold and the prices are reasonable.

The corn chowder or the tortilla soup are the big attractions here. You win either way, though I favor the corn chowder. But the salmon tacos are outstanding, with lots of fresh salmon inside. The meal is large enough to share, though we also ordered the steak tacos. Ample sides, and bottomless chips and salsa make this one of the... More

We've been eating here for 30 years; *always* excellent. They could easily have made the restaurant bigger, added other locations - but they've stayed exactly the same. I always go for the beef fajita. Be sure to have the soup, if it's corn chowder. Good for families - don't expect a quiet little hideaway. Close to Lovers' Point - great... More
