I would plan for a wait time to eat at this popular location. Ordered my meal to go and took it to the nearby trail to enjoy the ocean views. A special request was made for my meal due to my onion allergy, but I was disappointed once on the trail to see I had to pick MANY onions out... More

Oh myyy how I love First Awakenings. Arrive early and stay until your entire carafe of coffee is finished. I had the carnitas egg thing this time, but in the past have had their breakfast burrito and their huevos. I have always enjoyed the food and the service, and I'm happy to sit outside when it is warm enough, or... More

We stopped in for breakfast on a Saturday morning. 20 minute wait (big sur marathon weekend). Had carnitas scramble which was excellent, lots of meat. Wife had bombero burrito and was happy too. Kids happy with their food too. Very close to aquarium, great breakfast place..huge portions.

Interesting restaurant in one of the old canneries. Inside and outside eating. Extensive menu. Fresh squeezed orange juice. Our meals were very good, no complaints.

My omelet was dry and lacked enough oozing cheese to make up for it. The potatoes were pretty good. Coffee in thermoses on table means there is always enough but it is never hot or fresh enough. Kind of more about quantity than quality it seems to me.

I love their omelette and egg benedict. Their sandwiches are also very delicious. They offer so many different varieties. It's really a good spot for nice hearty breakfast/brunch during the weekend! I've been here for lunch also, loved their sandwiches. Portions are big!

I think the neat thing about this place was that they had a pigeon problem and there were little bottles of water squirt bottles on the tables to deter the pigeons from joining your meal. They were trying to be very humane about it and tolerant which I thought was very noble of them. The food and service was good... More

From omelets, fruit and granola yogurt parfait, and their famous plate size pancakes, breakfast here is a treat and reasonably priced. They serve lunch also but I like their breakfast so much, I have never had lunch here.

After reading the reviews, I thought I would give this place a try for breakfast. First impression, it's tucked in a nice little cove in a strip mall. It has inside and outside patio seating. It's somewhat shielded from the wind.. But not from the pigeons. They give you a squirt bottle to ward off the pigeons when they get... More
