Sadly the worst meal for three out of four of us in 14 days around California. Tasteless paella, lamb cous cous dry and unintersting. Tried Red House Cafe the next evening and although not as grand , the food was far superior. Only go if you are prepared to eat mediocre fare. more

We eat at Fandango's every time we come down to Pacific Grove. We love the osso buco. The paella is also very good (less salty than the paella from Spain). We recommend as a restaurant stop in the Monterey area. more

I had expected a real good dinner but the food was just ok. Definitely not worth the $$. Real large pieces of meat in the Paella that tasted all the same (identical to the seafood in it). Checking the restaurant there was even left over food on the wall I was sitting next. The rest of the setting was nice.... more

We live in Pacific Grove. We went to Fandango for Valentine's Day, admittedly a busy day for restaurants. We had requested an early seating reservation, so the restaurant was not crowded. My "Caesar" Salad was not a caesar salad. Limp, old romaine leaves were coated with a very tart, vinegary dressing. Proper caesar salad dressing uses lemon juice and anchovies.... more
