6 of us went for dinner on a Sunday n they accommodated by putting us in a room by ourselves. Excellent wine list. Many specials besides the menu. Great menu options. I had the special scallops served over pasta along with the calamari appetizer. Both were cooked perfectly. Staff was awesome n let you enjoy your experience.

Lovely surroundings in a quaint restaurant which gave us high hopes for our meal. The tapas starter was a bit sloppy with a lot of celeri remoulade; the onion soup was ok but could have been hotter. Steak frites was nice, but the calves liver was a large slab of meat from a giant calf and would have been more... More

Not much to dislike. The paella I ordered was too salty and too mushy, but it is tasty. Parking is good and out in front.

Fandango earns its high TripAdvisor AND Wine Spectator ratings fairly. Food is well prepared and the wine list is very extensive. Wine markups are reasonable, with a bottle of Paul Hobbs Chardonnay that retails for $47 selling at the restaurant for $82. We enjoyed French Onion Soup Gratinee and Potato Leek Soup for starters, a Spinach Salad, then Chicken Capri... More

Fandango is a restaurant we have enjoyed for many years. Since we don't live in the immediate area we visit infrequently. Fandango is a romantic, beautiful, quiet place to enjoy an absolutely delicious meal. The menu has been evolving but the old favorites such as french onion soup are still there. I enjoyed the fresh catch of the day, it... More

Now this is what I would call a "Class" restaurant. They seated us and immediately place a special decoration on our table. We were seated in room with only three tables in it, which made it very romantic for our anniversary Our waiter was excellent as were the bus boys. Dinner specials were very carefully explained as was the proper... More

Driving up to the restaurant, one has low expectations of what can be. Once you are inside, however, this is a nice place to dine. The wait staff was easy going and there when you needed them. The food was great. I had the calf's lover and it was truly one of the best I've ever had. The others had... More

We've been coming to this place for over 20 years & it is still THE BEST on the Monterey peninsula. We love the décor & flower arrangements are so fresh & beautiful always. The menu items have been updated to include bistro but all of the "old favorites" remain & are better than ever! Perfection! A very nice green salad... More

I've eaten at Fandango in previous years' visit to the Carmel area, but this year was pretty disappointing. They were very busy, like all restaurants during car week, but that doesn't excuse their poor service, as all restaurant owners know to expect huge crowds during this event. My food was mediocre, as was my wife's food, but the bill was... More

This was my first time at Fandango but not for the rest of my party. The service was great. The food was delicious... The sea scallops were perfectly cooked over a bed of pasta, the paella was perfectly season and loaded with chicken, sausage, mussels, scallops, clams and shrimp. Lovely.
