They're back and better than ever!

We had to come back - they have the best cioppino ever! We were so disappointed about the fire but were glad that they are open again. I recently spent a couple of days in Pacific Grove at our friend's house and he took my wife and me to this small, but quaint restaurant since he knew the owners. We had one of their specials that evening that consisted of two stuffed-crab Cannellonis. The creamy sauce that was part of the dish was absolutly delicious. We also... More

this was a fantastic little find in downtown pacific grove. Fantastic food: we had the specials: deep fried avocado with crab salad and seafood cannelloni. Everything was fresh and delicious. The wait staff were friendly and attentive and really welcoming. We will definitely be back!

I am happy this restaurant re-opened after the fire. Pacific Grove was in need of authentic Italian again. If you are in Pacific Grove, this restaurant is worth a visit. Service is friendly, wine choices are good and prices are reasonable and the food is wonderful! This is my third time back since the re-opening and with each visit I... More

I ordered a salad and a soup and had a glass of wine with it. The menu is varied, seasonal and the choice of wine more than adequate. I loved the location, was able to sit outside on a balmy fall evening, and was impressed with the waiters who were on top of it. They came to check on me... More

Dined here twice in the last two months. A celebration ($180)-every oyster had chips of shell and sand. The special pasta, artichokes, and seafood tasted like canned ingredients in a salty, garlic sauce. The recommended wine ($50) was awful - tasted like straw-bottle chianti.. A second visit 3 weeks later ($100), Nino's Best and cannelloni sauce tasted like it was... More

This Italian restaurant is quaint and dedicated to attentive service, nice choice for a romantic, casual dinner. Since this was our first time dining in this establishment, we will dine again to adequately judge the quality of the food. Food presentation was excellent, but the dishes were hit and miss. The special salad for the evening (a beet salad) was... More

We've been coming to Pacific Grove for many years and had always walked by this restaurant, but never dined here. This trip, we decided we would. It is a casual atmosphere, quaint, comfortable - similar to the ambiance of small NY/Brooklyn Italian eateries. Definitely would fit into the class of the "Big Night" movie. We learned it has been in... More

Favaloro's "Big Night " Bistro is simply the single best Sicilian cuisine on the West coast. This is a family affair with mom in the kitchen, Dad in the back making the deserts and family serving. Dad actually has a fishing boat and catches the fish - when we were there he had just brought a catch in. After being... More

Service was excellent and our server was very knowledgeable. Food was AMAZING! The cioppino and everything was delicious and very reasonably priced. Would definitely return.
