We arrived just as they were opening for the evening, 5PM. We were warmly greeted and felt welcomed immediately. This is a small restaurant, so would be a nice choice for a special meal. They serve beer and wine, no liquor. The wine list is nice and reasonably priced. There is a corkage fee if you bring your own wine.... More

We were looking for something local, but not part of the tourist offerings. Loved this place. Only one person did not clean their plate,( including 2 preteens). We had 2 items from the special list. A beet salad, delicious and the lobster ravioli, yum! Baked oysters, clam linguine, a seafood combo linguini, and ravioli tre formaggie. Yum yum yum!! The... More

There is a good reason this place is so highly rated on trip advisor! Our inn mentioned it was mom's birthday in the reservation and right away the son of the owner made it his mission to make sure it was a night to remember! The panko-crusted deep fried avocado was to die for and the salad with mango dressing... More

Recommended by the inn we were staying at. It was within walking distance and the food was fabulous. We were waited on by John, one of the Favaloro family members. We couldn't have been more pleased with the service. We started with crab topped fried avocado. Sounds strange, taste great. I had the pork steak, my wife had the lamb... More

Wife and I ate here tonite food is very good. We spent a month in Italy in April and this is food that reminds of the great food we had there. Had cannelloni and fish both delicious and mascarpone dessert was as good if not better than Italy. Went early at 5 place empty by 6 the place was busy.

They do not have a clue what Italian cuisine is. Very expensive poor quality food. Bread was very dry and not really edible. I had cioppino, and it was awful. Just a tomato chicken broth so loaded with pepper you could not taste the seafood. Must stay in business due to first time tourist traffic.

This is definitely a higher end restaurant and a great spot for a date night. The food is excellent, the service attentive without being overbearing, and the space is really comfortable. The thing that sets this spot apart, however, is that it all feels like a family affair. Mom is cooking, dad is making desserts ... And everyone obviously is... More

Due to the many great reviews, I decided to take my mother to this restaurant during our birthday trip to Monterey. We went there on a weekday and arrived when they opened so they were empty at the time. Service: good, unobtrusive, attentive service. Ambience: Nicely dim lit with table cloths, traditional decor and I think a fireplace in the... More

Moved to Pacific Grove about a year ago and are still finding great places to eat, this is definitely one of them. Read about the restaurant re-opening after a fire and wanted to come by and support a local business. Glad we did. The food was very good. We had a yummy avocado and crab appetizer and a nice white... More

We booked a group of 36 on a Sunday night (normally closed). Marie opened for us; how lucky we were. They handled our large group perfectly. In my experience, the fish here exceeds the quality of the "specialty" fish restaurants. (Sand dabs got our raves.) Don't miss the eggplant parmesan, the best ever. Our group was unanimous is giving Favoloro's... More
