Great food, great service and a wonderful wine list . What more could one want. It is not in a touristy area and that was a plus.

Cindy and Ted never disappoint. They use only the freshest, organic food and seafood that is available. The menu reflects food in season, and sustainable, cooked and served to perfection. The staff is great - knowledgeable on both food and wine. It is one of our favorite go to places to take out of town guests.

We went to Passionfish for my birthday dinner and it was simply wonderful!! We didn't have reservations, the wait was only about 45 minutes, well worth waiting for! The service was really good and the food, WOW, just WOW!! We shared the Crab and avocado salad (should have had one each they were that good!) Super fresh crab and lightly... More

I ate here with a colleague late one night in August. The earliest reservation we could get was 9:30 PM and we were not seated until at least 9:45. The service was outstanding and our server (accompanied by a trainee) was attentive and knowledgeable. She recommended excellent wines as well as special dishes. We ate scallops, baked gorgonzola, spoonable 12... More

We visited Passionfish as the second stop of a 9-day trip to California. We were told Passionfish was one of the best restaurants in Pacific Grove and we agree with that assessment. First of all it’s trendy, a bit pretentious and there were a lot of hipsters dining that evening. In addition it was a bit loud with conversation hard... More

Food was great as always. Excellent service. Great wine list. Enjoyed everything about the restaurant. The wines are from all over the world, not just local wines. The food is fresh and tasty.

Love passionfish wonderful fish dinners and I preferr beef. Their fish dinners are wonderfully prepared extremely moist. Resturant looks small but the other side facing roadway is large. I recommend when you make reservations you should sit in the front of resturant near road as it has large windows which to see out of. Side of resturant very narrow and... More

An absolutely superb meal Dungeness crab cake and scallop for starters, and a goats cheese salad ( I wish I could have this every day), and rockfish in a rum sauce for mains. A lemon verbena creme brulee finished off a fantastic experience. The chef for sure knows how to cook. Retaurant table were a little close together but we... More

The seafood is superb. We have dined at the restaurant many times through the years. Somehow, the place maintains the level of excellence over all this time. At this last visit, we chose the "less expensive" selections. Both were excellent. The rockfish was cooked perfectly. As other reviewers note, the adult beverage selection is extraordinary.
