Extensive wine list priced at cost (or with minimal mark up). Calm surroundings and excellent service. Spicy fish stew is one of the best things I have ever eaten.

Our meal (fried Morro Bay oysters, sea scallop appetizer, Dungeness crab and avocado salad, heirloom tomato salad, and spoonable 12-hour lamb breast) and wine were just delicious. Our friendly server also helped us select a great wine. We took old friends out to dinner at Passionfish, and they said this was the best meal they've ever had. He loves lamb,... More

The service was impeccable. Every one appeared genuinely interested that you were there. The food was unique, wonderfully prepared and surprisingly inexpensive. Our server was able to give us great wine recommendations. One of the best meals I have ever had.

Back after 2 years and service is still superlative and the menu has so many delicious sounding choices that we had a difficult time narrowing it down; between the time it took my husband to pour over the very extensive wine menu and the mouthwatering selections on the menu, we took over half an hour to make our selections. Fortunately,... More

Booked as a result of the Trip Advisor reviews. Spicy fish and crab cakes starters fantastic as were the slow cooked lamb and duck mains. Good atmosphere and intelligent service. Happy campers!

My husband and I enjoyed our anniversary dinner at Passionfish on July 4th. It was outstanding. When making the reservation my husband mentioned it was our anniversary and when we were seated we noted that the top of our menus both said Happy Anniversary on them! The service was excellent. The food is all excellent and there are choices that... More

We stumbled upon this lovely, modern, fresh restaurant while spending a few nights in Pacific Grove. The ambiance was modern yet warm, they served rose' wine from the south of France, and we were absolutely impressed from the moment we walked in the door! Our dinners were excellent. Dessert as well was wonderful! Our server was excellent! I can honestly... More

Passionfish has been a reliably outstanding restaurant, with perfectly prepared, creative presentations of sustainable seafood. However, this trip was a bit disappointing. As always, the service was impeccable. (Also as always, the tables were so close together that you can't help but overhear the conversations of the guests at neighboring tables.) My appetizer was the crab cake ($16), a single,... More

Every single meal was just perfect - special ingredients in great harmony. We loved the soup, the fish, the lamb, the salad. Very good value for money, elegant restaurant, very nice and helpful service. We suggest!
