Our 5th or 6th visit to one of the nations premier seafood dining experiences. Adheres to guidelines set by the Monterey, CA Aquarium, regarding harvesting and serving non-endangered species, mostly line-caught or wisely sourced. The chef is creative, with brilliantly prepared dishes full of flavor, served by a well-trained and cordial staff. The wine list is unique, featuring little known... More

Just past Monterey in Pacific Grove is this Oasis of culinary delights! While specializing in seafood they offer meat dishes as well. Everything is fresh and from sustainable sources. Crudo appetizer with granita was sublime. Slow cooked lamb was so tender I ate it with a spoon! Excellent and varied wine list with a delightful policy of minimal markup so... More

We consider Passionfish one of the best Restaurants in Carmel area and come there every time we r in the area!!! The food never dissapoints and the wine list is impressive and fairly priced. On our last visit, however, we felt the service being rushed( almost like the restaurant was trying to fit in another seating during the long weekend)... More

An intimate and quality restaurant in Pacific Grove. Perfect if wanting something not just the usual fare at home or a touristy/hotel locale. Fresh fare impeccably prepared & presented. We had the Dungenes crab/avocado salad, as well as the Scallops for the main-both are popular choices and very worth it. Our desert was raspberries and apple slices with ice cream-a... More

Ahhh... I waited too long to post this review! Everything we had here was so, so good. I was struck by the quality of the dishes (we had a salad, two apps and two entrees), as well as the bill at the end! (What?! $150 for all that, plus we had a nice bottle of wine?) I don't think we... More

Just returned to Passionfish for another outstanding meal and one of the absolute best servers I've ever encountered. Bottle of Rombauer Chardonnay, brussel sprouts appetizer, scallop and rice custard (sounds odd, tastes fabulous), and lemon custard made a dinnerI'd recommend.

We were not disappointed with tthe readers reviews. The restaurant was nearly full before 6pm with mostly locals. They use local produces and the artichoke risotto cakes with scallop was excellent. There's choices of meat dishes too. The Wagru beef ribs was superb. It's a much better choice than those seafood restaurants along Cannery Row in Monterey and it's definitely... More
