We returned here for another meal at our favorite PG restaurant, and were delighted to find it better than ever. The chef is both inventive and caring, and the wait staff anticipated most of our needs. Everything worked very well, and we left happy.

We ordered 5 small dishes between the two of us, and every one was superb -- great combination of flavors and textures. If you count our dessert, it's 6 out of 6 for memorably delicious dishes. Service was good, and it was a real bonus that the wines were relatively affordable.

I travel to Monterey for business once a year, and this is one of my regular stops. Passionfish prides itself on only preparing sustainable seafood from reputable and humane sources. The dishes are creative, delicious, and not obscenely priced. The servers are knowledgable and very friendly, and the wine list is not priced the way other restaurants do; Passionfish doesn't... We ate at Passionfish a couple of years ago and were impressed with the food and service. This time it was just as good as we remembered. We went to celebrate my wife's birthday and she really enjoyed it. The warm brussels sprout salad was delicious. The menu was personalized with her name and birthdate so that added a nice... More

The area around Monterey California boasts an abundance of restaurants but few are worth writing about. Fresh Cream for many years was the prime choice for fine dining and the Sardine Factory held pride of place for its longevity and proud history. But Fresh Cream has closed and on our recent visit to the Sardine Factory the food was bland... More

We have been here many times before for the fish but this time we had trhe Venison and the Pork Spaetzle. Both were great. My carnivore friends raved about the meat.

This restaurant was recommended to us and it was one of my favourite restaurants on our vacation. This is a great date place, but you could come here with friends, family, or for business. There is an extensive wine collection. The fish was fresh and there were a number of menu choices. I think I remember the food being local.... More
