Great food, good service

A tiny place located along the drive from Monterey to Carmel along the beachside, it offered some of the very finest seafood. The fried oysters were very good and the crab cakes very juicy. The Barramundi was also well prepared and was big enough to fill our stomachs. Overall a very satisfying... read more

Ate lunch here and had a seafood wrap filled with baby scallops, shrimp & crab in a spicy sauce with black beans & rice. Very good. Food passing by looked fresh & tasty, especially salads topped with fresh fish.

Compared to the rest of the places we ate at during our visit to the area, this place was low key, simple and good. They have variety of seafood including what they call bowls with seafood, rice, veggies and beans. Prices were cheap and the food was decent. It was a nice break from some of the other high end... Not as glam an experience as one might expect from a restaurant along 17 mile drive in Monterey, but the food was good and local wine selection decent. We all ate fish dinners of various descriptions (of course) and we were all happy with our choice. Restaurant is a little pokey, and the toilets a little too lo-fi maybe, but... More

I used to live in the Pacific Grove area in the early 90s. I would go to this restaurant for numerous meals...and always for clam chowder. I visited this week.... The chowder is timeless, unchanged and delicious beyond words! I always wish I had the recipe so I could make it at home... LOVE!

Good menus for adults and children, family-friendly service, a walk across the street from Asilomar where we stayed! Good fish!

Reasonably priced seafood with great service and a pleasant setting. I will definitely visit again. The menu has nice variety and the our larger group were able to enjoy one anothers company (i.e. the noise level was not too much).

This restaurant does not look like much from the outside, but I am glad we stopped we stopped in to have lunch while touring Pacific grove. It was a Saturday and the place was packed. The wait was worth it. The menu is quite large and mostly seafood. However they do have meals for those who do not like seafood... More

The food quality is average. I had the seafood combination pasta. The shrimp and scallops were bay size. I would have expected much higher quality seafood at a seafood restaurant. I could had made this quality meal at home. Everything about the place looked and felt cheap.
