Every time we visit the Monterey area, we come here for dinner. We like it because the restaurant is kid friendly and the service and food is always great. The homemade pasta dishes are some of the best we've had anywhere. Nice selection of wines from Italy and California. It is also within easy walking distance from Cannery Row.

We didn't have a reservation and it was dinner hour on a Saturday night. They worked us in with no wait. The food was fantastic, the wine was great and the Service was Outstanding. The décor was very charming, you could see the chefs preparing the food. Everything was fresh with very rich flavors. The olive oil and balsamic vinegar's... More

The homemade pastas are really very good. We had a party of 6 and ordered four different items and added some salad and veggies with it. That way we got to try a little of everything. We all enjoyed every dish. I especially liked the cannelloni but everything was delicious. The server was knowledgeable and helpful and the owner/manager came... More

I had the most amazing gnocchi with pesto, the most amazing ever! We also had rigatoni with meat ragu, rated as the most delicious thing he had ever eaten! The roasted beet salad was so delicious we almost didn't want to move on to the main course, but then, it turned out to be better! Truly, one of the best... More

No doubt best in town- it does have some different menus on certain days so check first before you go. Fun to just sit at the bar and just have the beet salad, broccoli and cheese & salami and share just one glass of chardonnay- nice and affordable and the atmosphere is half of it.

After recently moving to the Monterey Peninsula I was hoping to find a great restaurant with excellent food for the money. This place is it. They make much of their pasta in house - the gnocchi is to die for, the roasted vegetables done to perfection. Two of us had the lamb pasta which they enjoyed very much. I'm not... More

Very good, and affordable, casual Italian restaurant. If you like mussels, you'll think you've died and gone to heaven -- the plumpest, freshest ones I've had in a very long time. With the exception of the tiramisu, which was disappointing, the other dishes I've had have been good-to-wonderful. I will definitely be back for more. Wine a little pricey. Popular,... More

If you go to a restaurant solely for the food, this place is a winner for you. Excellent soup, great pasta, good prices. The wine list is small, but reasonably priced. But we were not well treated, and when I complained of being cold they said that they had no heat! One of the hostesses, apparently the owner, had clearly... More

Well prepared and a nice variety of food and salads. The pastas and sauces are excellent. There is a wide choice of items on the menu. A large selection of US and Italian wines by the glass or bottle. Good Italian food at a good value with friendly service.

The food here is excellent - pasta and non pasta dishes alike. It is excellent value and they have wonderful wines both in the glass and bottle and they go out of their way to provide excellent service.
