Adequate

It was cold in the restaurant. Lots of windows, so maybe they were conserving on heat. They have a fireplace in the dining room, but it wasn't being used. Ordered the fish and chips (12.95). Just ok, and the french fries are better at Burger King.

We had visited the Monarch Grove Sanctuary and then walked and played at the Asilomar Beach. Then, where to go for a mini-meal? Well: it is a short drive to the Points Pinos Grill. As we had a dog in the party we ate at the outdoor tables … with a nice view of the golf course and the nearby... More

Bottom line: poor service, poor value, and mediocre food. This was the worst restaurant experience I've had in Monterey County in 2 decades. Went for lunch when the restaurant was at most half full. Had to wait > 25 minutes for our entrees -- a patty melt and an entree salad. Other patrons were obviously waiting a long time, too,... More

If you love good food and a great view and you also happen to golf, this is the place for you! If you don't golf it is still the place for you! Friendly staff and great service. A hidden gem in Pacific Grove!

My friend and I went for breakfast. Food was good. She had an omelette and I had yogurt with fruit and granola. My only complaints were: dirty spoon served with my cup of coffee, dirty mug served with my friend's hot chocolate. Also the male server had WAY too much cologne on that morning. It was very overpowering everytime he... More

Point Pinos Grill is golfer destination but on a Sunday morning we came, there were others who were not golfers like us. The breakfast was great and the service was very good as well. I had an omelette with vegetables and although it is very good, I would have like a lot more vegetables but that was just me. The... More

The view and the service were great but the happy hour food choices were not. Heirloom tomatoe salad which had six small tomatoes and a dab of mozzarella was 10.95. We asked for bread and were brought two large slices of french that had been grilled along with two sides of soft butter. The grilled artichokes were delicious but they... More

Wandered in, couldn't see people eating anywhere but decided to stay due to some healthy menu options. We received immediate exceptional treatment by Geo. The weather was great for a meal on the deck, he decorated our table with seashells, candles, and provided an overall serene atmosphere. Fresh, wholesome ingredients were prepared exquisitely making for a meal to brag about.... More

Even though this restaurant is located at the Pacific Grove Municipal Golf Course, food was unique and very good. They have very unique pepper bacon which is marvelous and I had some terrific raspberry pancakes which is not what you expect to find at a golf course grill. They also server dinner entrees later in the day, although we did... More

You would never expect to find this type of food at a municipal golf course! The food is incredible California Fusion. The hamburgers are uber gourmet $12.95), as is the fried chicken sandwich. I had the (skirt or flank?) steak and empanadas ($18.95) cooked perfectly. My friend had the penne bolognese. There are no bad meals here! The Pistachio Creme... More
