I popped into Pacific Thai not knowing what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. I had the Thai red curry tofu, which was flavorful and just the right amount of spice. The prices are reasonable (hard to find in this area!) and the staff friendly. I would definitely go back!

Best Thai food in Pacific Grove! That's not saying much as I only know of one other Thai restaurant in Pacific Grove, and it is a mile away from the old downtown area. We always come here for weekdays lunch when in the area, as they have $8.25 lunch specials 11am-230pm, too large for my wife to finish. This is... More

Clean, welcoming, and delicious. Be sure to include their cocoanut soup as an appetizer. It seemed odd to pay for rice with our meal, but everything was tasty enough that we decided they must have a valid reason. Be prepared to get there early, or wait with the locals. It is an area favorite.

I love Thai, but the tastes all seemed uniform and were drowned in sauce. Fun to sit outside on the sidewalk.

I live 2 1/2 hours away from Monterey, CA. If you've never eaten at Cannery Row or The Peninsula, eat there. I have eaten there many times but wanted try something local. Could not have picked a better place. Restaurant was a little small and had to wait 30 minutes. Service was straight forward and efficient. Food was delicious and... More

Three couples had a perfect dinner here. Excellent food, unhurried, friendly and personal service. Nice ambiance, this place always hits the mark. Looking forward to returning here.

My husband and I were visiting the area and came upon this great restaurant where we had lunch. We liked it because it was small and very clean. We had the Drunken Noodles and the Spicy Thai Basil with the green curry and both dishes were excellent as was the service. We did not have a long wait even though... More

We had a selection of appetisers: shrimp suit, crab golden bag, chicken satay and salmon spring rolls. The first three came together, but it was at least 10 mins after we'd finished those that the salmon rolls arrived hence the comment about the "average service". The salmon spring rolls were the standout, the rest merely average. For entrees we had... More

I love this place and don't get to eat here enough (because my kids aren't Thai fans). I love their Mussamun chicken, but really everything I've tried here was great. It is a small place, maybe a dozen tables. They do offer take-out. This place is popular, but sometimes it is packed and people waiting, and other times I walk... More
