We had the Ahi appetzer and it was perfect. My wife's carnivore grill platter was also a big hit. Even the fresh herb bread was delicious. Service was friendly & fast. The evening was topped off by the wonderful live music trio who perform on Saturday nights.

Come here for $3.00 margaritas. Also, in the bar area the appetizers are $5.00. Get the chicken nachos. You will not be disappointed!!!

I will keep it short and sweet, the food was horrible, tasteless, cold, swimming in fat and almost inedible. the service was slow, thoughtless and very very slow even though the place was half empty. honestly don't know how they stay in business..... (well they claim to be thee new sugar beets, not for long if you ask my opinion)... More

Great place, good quality food and very well prepared. Pricy but worth it. Valentines dinner special with wine and tip was $150.00 for two.

Had lunch at Sugar Beets and was thoroughly unimpressed with the menu, the quality of the food and the overall atmosphere. Salad was wilted and missing ingredients. Onion rings were very greasy. Burgers were better than fast food but not as good as a Five Guys. Add in the difficulty to park and it's a completely forgettable experience I would... More

My husband and I had lunch at the restaurant yesterday. The food was excellent! I had the Portebella Mushroom Napoleon (mushroom, eggplant, grilled veggies, parmesan cheese, drizzled with a nice light sauce). Huge portion, very tasty. A must try! My husband had a BBQ tri tip sandwich with sweet potato fries. That also was a huge portion and very good.... More

This is a 4 star restaurant and we joined them in the bar for Happy Hour. The wine was delicious and only $4 for a generous serving of wine. The appetizer plates were $5 each but very generous portions and wonderful presentations! The food was amazing. There were 4 of us and we shared 6 assorted appetizers. I had the... More

Recently went back to check the vibe at this place. Met my wife for a sampling of food. Great bar service (Happy hour till 7 on weekdays )and house white wine, full bar!, We ordered brucetta, fried oysters and the big daddy the blue cheese relleno! The brucetta was a tangy melding of tomato olives, garlic, drizzled with balsamic and oil. The... More

I just ate lunch at this restaurant in Oxnard for the first time, we arrived at 12:30 and the place was dead. Not a good sign. We split a Cobb salad which was same old ingredients plus beets, it was good but not great. My husband got a Seafood Risotto which he liked, just not the high cost of $17... More
