Delightful dining

We were driving by and looked for a place to have lunch. We stopped here and had a wonderful experience at this local cafe. The waitress and cook were both very helpful in working with my wife's food allergy. The food was very good. The soup was as good or better than home made. The waitress... read more

The Palm is really the only show in town. The food was good and the wait staff very friendly but the service is very very slow. Don't expect anything to happen in a timely manner, whether it's serving the food, filling a water glass or getting the check. I would recommend the Palm for anyone with lots of time on... More

it was just a horror to stay there. The waitress fingernails where black. That she has no teets in the mouth can be a monay problem, but that she has such dirty fingers has nothing to do with monay. The cook looket like crazy. And it was a mistake to eat there a food. When I watched the emplyeds there,... More

While we were in Klamath I looked for places to eat and the palm cafe came up and while we didn't eat there we did stop for pie because of other reviews. May not look like much from the outside but the pie was delicious and the staff was extremely nice and welcoming.

I went in for pie and ended up having breakfast first. It wasn't a busy morning. The server was super friendly. The eggs did take long for diner food but everything tasted great. The pie was AMAZING. Seriously. Homemade blackberry pie. Order the pie.

We ran late exploring the ocean, watching the sunset and ran for a restaurant after dark! Glad we found this cool, old fashioned place. They even had a real juke box for my teenage boys to experience! Food was homemade and hit the spot! :) They close at 8pm so be sure to get there quick!

My experience was a bit different than described in other recent postings. There are few choices for eating lunch in Orick and this seemed to be place to be before entering the park from the south. The service was friendly and prompt. The food was certainly not gourmet but it met our needs for a quick lunch at reasonable prices.

We stopped here to eat breakfast before hitting the national park. There weren't a lot of choices, so we gave this place a shot. It took about 10 minutes before we even had our drink order taken. That should have been a sign to us that the total breakfast experience would take about an hour and a half. The food... More

Waited forever--took over an hour to get breakfast--cook appeared to only work on one order at time. Once breakfast finally came it was terrible--eggs in omelets were undercooked and very greasy. Try somewhere else.

We stopped in for lunch. Seems like a family owned restaurant, with all family members involved. Ordered a hamburger, and salad bar. My comment after leaving the restaurant was " I hope the food doesn't make us ill." It didn't. We took pie to go, and it was great for breakfast the next morning.
