Twice I've tried this restaurant because I really wanted to like it, once with family and once with friends. I had hoped the first disappointing experience was because it was an off day for the cook. Then when it happened again, I decided it was a pattern. Beautiful surroundings and all the potential for a hot spot if the food... More

Five of us had an early dinner on a Wednesday evening. All five had different food/drink selections and all were good. Nice portions on the food. The bangers and mash was outstanding. Service became had to obtain as the crowd increased. Also learned that the happy hour drink prices on the menu did not apply since we were seated at... More

My boss took us here for a work lunch. After were sat, it took literally 10-15 mins for the server to make his 1st appearance to ask for drink orders. It took quite a while for our food to come out, a little more then what fish and chips should take I think, however when it did come out, it... More

Expected a long wait, since there was a football game on and the place was crowded, but luckily, our food arrived quickly and was good. Ordered the Reuben, just to be traditional, and was not disappointed. Another in our party ordered the special mac n cheese (they had been there before and liked it) - said it was very good.... Came in for Lunch, seated, and server took our drink order. I told my server I usually order Guinness, but wanted to try the Smithwicks since I was told they had it on tap. I was immediately told they didn't have it, but they had several IPA's and suggested them instead. Wow, I just told her I normally order Guinness,... More

Hi , this is a pretty good sandwich shop. The blonde ale they have is really good but they are always out of it. It is right next to a cop shop so drink responsibly.

We went early on a weeknight, every little thing was perfect! I know the place gets full and probably noisy, but it was quiet when we were there. All beers (love that they serve tastes of the home brewed ones) were cold and delicious, and quite different from each other, making the tastes a good idea. Jesus, our server was... More

I love visiting Rooney's! I love the chips!! We have come here frequently since it opened, and are always pleased with the food, selection of beers, and the service is decent, could be a bit better, but never terrible. I love their lost shepard's pie and their ceaser salad. Definitely could amp up the amount of dressing on the salads,... More
