Delicious food, over-priced

Eat here about 10 times a year with friends. Food is unique, beautifully presented, and tasty. However, they do not take reservations. If you arrive by 11:30 for lunch, and about 5 for dinner, it will be fine. Otherwise a long wait. Waiters are quite knowledgeable about the food. I... read more

Gabbi's used to be my fave place - in fact I live down the street. We are reluctant to take friends because we once waited outside for over an hour. Were told over and over we were coming up on list - we finally left. There are just too many other great restaurants within a half block to wait for... More

This was the best place we ate at in California!! It is sort of hard to find but it is really cool indoor/outdoor vibe. The veggie tacos were AWESOME, my mom loved the shrimp enchilada, and my sister loved the meat tacos. The margaritas were huge but just ok. Skip that and go for the awesome tacos. Our waiter was... We passed Gabbi's many times and finally decided to stop. Our meals were very good - beef tacos and excellent - pork tacos(shared). These are not your run of the mill tacos. The beer selection was poor and the prices were high considering the limited and quality of the selection. The atmosphere casual and interesting. The bar is definitely a... More

Visiting a friend for dinner on a Sunday evening as a diversion from my business trip, I was given choice of Gabbi's or Haven. I chose the former and I was not disappointed. Although I live in UK I try and eat Mexican at least once on my frequent trips to the USA, and Gabbi's novel take The genre is... More

It is a cute, very busy, South American cafe. You usually have to wait but just use the time to explore the local shops in the Circle. They page you. The food is "different" than the traditional Mexican faire and is, accordingly, more expensive. They have very good margaritas, sangria and amazing French press coffee. Location in Old Town Orange...
