Inventive Offering and Great Atmosphere

There is no big sign outside just a simple G for Gabbi short for Gabriela (the owner and food creator). Her menu is creative and offers a variety of Yucatan influenced food. Had an early dinner at Gabbi's recently. First of all, the decor, the ambiance, the personnel working there are all top notch. Very charming, pleasant, classy. The chips and salsa are top rate. I ordered a white sangria on the suggestion of our waiter, Diego. Wow, the best sangria I've ever had. It had pieces of mint, pomogranate seeds, maybe... More

I have eaten at this local gem at least one dozen times and am always excited to go back! Tried some new things this time; carnitas and a blood orange margarita. Such a pleasant change from my usual enchiladas suizas and cadillac margarita. Our server was extremely attentive and patient with our desire to dine leisurely despite the lunchtime rush.... More

This is a beautiful, well appointed small restaurant with a sidewalk patio giving a very European dining experience. It is located one half block south of the Orange Plaza (aka"The Circle") in the Old Town district in Orange. You won't be disappointed.

It is always packed here and reservations are hard to come by. What they do not readily tell you is that they only reserve half the restaurant. If you do not mind waiting you can almost always get in here. We went without a reservation on New Year's Eve and waited a half hour, with a glass of wine to... More

Eat here about 10 times a year with friends. Food is unique, beautifully presented, and tasty. However, they do not take reservations. If you arrive by 11:30 for lunch, and about 5 for dinner, it will be fine. Otherwise a long wait. Waiters are quite knowledgeable about the food. I recommend it. Skips the drinks and go for the desserts!... More

Gabbi's used to be my fave place - in fact I live down the street. We are reluctant to take friends because we once waited outside for over an hour. Were told over and over we were coming up on list - we finally left. There are just too many other great restaurants within a half block to wait for... More

This was the best place we ate at in California!! It is sort of hard to find but it is really cool indoor/outdoor vibe. The veggie tacos were AWESOME, my mom loved the shrimp enchilada, and my sister loved the meat tacos. The margaritas were huge but just ok. Skip that and go for the awesome tacos. Our waiter was...
