Great food and service

I've been going to Gabbi's since I went to college in old town Orange. Smaller family style restaurant with fun modern decor. Service has always been great. Love the chips and salsa to start, but make sure you save room for the entree. I'm a big eater so portions are a bit on the smaller side for... read more

My mother and I have been wanting to come here for weeks now and we finally did. We preferred to sit at the bar because we only wanted a margarita and their churro dessert. Well there were no decent open spots at the bar so we asked the host for a table and he said if we are only getting... More

I was recently at Gabbi's and asked for a substitution to accommodate my vegan diet - a couple avocado slices instead of cheese - on a salad that I ordered. I was rudely told, "No substitutions." I thought it was a pretty reasonable swap. I don't like to tell people I'm vegan because then they make a big deal and... More

Excellent Mexican restaurant with quality dishes that are not the standard Mexican fair you are used to. The sauces are rich and unique and they use quality seafood. Had the stuffed chile relleno with crab and shrimp as a special and it was to die for. Don't skip out on their wonderful soups too. We will be back soon.

This place has an awesome ambience and delicious food. There is sometimes a wait but it is worth it. It's kind of hidden and meshes with the brick wall but right across from Havens.

They have a large selection of specialty cocktails including a jalapeño margarita for those folks who drink. The chips were fresh, and the salsa was absolutely delicious. I ate two pots of salsa. By myself. I'm a huge salsa fan. The shrimp jicama tacos were good, but there were a lot of toppings on it and a single paper thin... More

I always hesitate to recommend on Tripadvisor a spot that is my neighborhood. I love the place but is it worth driving to from the "tourist" areas of Anaheim or the beach? Well if you like different food done excellently then you might want to venture to the quaint city of Orange and its well preserved old town area. Gabbi’s... More

Have been to restaurants all over the world. This is by far one of the best. We had empanadas and they were incredible. Tacos are insane.

It seems the only person who doesnt get why this place is packed. It's too small and the food is just ok. I have tried it a couple of times and no thank you, there's too many other amazing places to eat in Orange to waste money here.
