We went to dinner here last night with friends and had a wonderful meal. It is only my third time in the last year, but I have found it to be consistent. I had the veal Marsala and it was excellent. Everyone enjoyed what they had and we had a very good Brunelo to go with the meal. The owner... More

It's not comfortable being the only sub-average review. But you have to call 'em as you find 'em. And there isn't much to find here. The problem with Mascarpone's isn't one thing, it's a number of things. To start with it's poorly signed and difficult to locate. The mapping services have it on the wrong side of the street, and... My husband and I stopped in here early on a Friday night after hearing good things. We especially love family run spots and were excited to try someplace new. The restaurant was fairly busy when we first walked in, but there didn't appear to be a host or hostess . No problem. It was quaint. Finally a very frazzled looking... More

This is real Italian food served by an Italian staff. Expect gentle European service. AKA, You won't be in and out in 45 min. Portions are large especially on the pasta dishes.

I had a friend invite me to this hidden gem in Orange and I immediately got hooked on their food. From appetizers (mozzarella, calamari, & soup) to the dessert, this place does NOT leave you disappointed. You will not find the quality and quantity of this type of food at any commercialized/corporate restaurant (a.k.a. The Olive Garden). You must check... More

This place has been around for 20+ years. Good food and the owners work the resturant. Service if great, good wine selection and food prices are very reasonable. The cheesecake and other deserts are a good finishing touch. Nice and mellow atmosphere.

We had never been here, and like using our entertainment discounts to try new places, so this is where we went. The employees were very attentive but the italian accent on the server was so heavy we didn't understand a lot of what he said. We put pieces together and got the gist of it. Room was way too dark,... More

We ordered the paella contadina, the sea bass daily special, and a homemade stuffed shell. The paella was a little odd; the cornmeal mushy and bland, the sauce, with sausage, peppers and tomatoes, very heavy and rich. The shell was really tasty. I have no idea what was in or on it. The sea bass, nearly $30, was just ordinary;... More

We've been coming here for more than 20years. Special occasions, holidays, just because....it's a bit hidden next to a motel across from a TJ Max. All that stands out is it's burgundy awning with the name in big letters. There is plenty of parking but it is in back. The driveway is between it and the motel. A bit hard... More

Have been coming to Mascarpone's off and on for 20 years. Staff changes but the owner's been there every time I've visited. Small place that you can drive by easily but lots of parking in the back. Last visit was on a Sunday evening...a few groups and couples and the noise level was very low. Great place to eat and... More
