Love an early dinner around the firepit tables

We come here often for dinner on the weekends with friends. Always busy. Breakfast is good but overpriced. Dinner is very reasonable. The hamburgers are fantastic. Service always good. We come here often for dinner on the weekends with friends. Always busy. Breakfast is good but overpriced. Dinner is very reasonable. The hamburgers are fantastic. Service always good. They are always busy. Lots of traffic and jammed with college students. But if you eat early on a Friday or Saturday, it's fine. They take reservations. A fun place for... More

When we initially drove by there were a lot of people eating outside here. So, we figured we should give it a try after our tour. What's not to like about breakfast all day?? We went at an off hour, approximately 4 pm so sort of in between lunch and dinner crowds so our service was quick and efficient. The... More

Popped into The Filling Station for breakfast, with friends from out-of-town, on a whim. After a brief wait, we were seated inside. Our waitress was attentive, and we soon had our breakfast beverages. We ordered (sorry, can't recall the details), and food arrived within 15-20 minutes. Lots of food, and all very good. Prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is eclectic... More

My friend got breakfast...florentine Benedict, which looked amazing! And she said it was deliciousI got the Chinese chicken salad, which was Ok, but unimpressive and kinda boring (that's what I get for trying to eat healthy!). Very generous portions, so you won't leave hungry. Lots of menu choices for breakfast & lunch. The different kinds of FRENCH toast sounded amazing.... More

We have been here a few times while visiting our daughter at Chapman. This place has an amazing breakfast. Good fresh food. Friendly service. Get there early if you do not want to wait, they get busy!

It's exactly what the name says - an old, antique Filling Station - but now instead of filling up your car with gasoline, you fill your tummy with delicious breakfast & lunch! Get here early or you'll likely be waiting for 30-45 minutes...but it's worth it.

I ate outdoors with my daughter in law and both of our dishes were outstanding. I had the eggplant and pepper sandwich on homemade focaccia bread and the other entree was the breakfast burrito. The sandwich was so large that I saved the other half for lunch the following day and it was still very tasty. We plan on making... More

Whether indoors or under the umbrellas on street-side, you'll find a casual and friendly atmosphere coupled with great food. I visited for a late lunch and beer and found the tables full of locals--was lucky to get a table. The place was very busy but the wait staff didn't seem stressed at all; in fact they were full of smiles... More

Wide variety of breakfast options...everything is good! Large portions and good value. Large patio with umbrellas for those who enjoy outdoor dining. Good vibe.

We enjoyed breakfast at The Filling Station because of her love for their chai latte. She had a Denver omelet and I enjoyed bacon and eggs. Both of our breakfasts were too big to finish. Their was a wait to get a table was about 25 minutes, we went into the bar and had breakfast there without a wait.
