Have been eating here for 20+ years

Our faves: Seafood especially salmon tacos which are not on the menus, fajitas quesadilla and chicken mole.. Albondigas you can skip but they have other choices of excellent soups and specials. Sunday brunch they bring out a fruit plate as a starter. Very reasonable prices.

We were a little apprehensive at first. This place was very "cute" (great Saguaro cactus lights in the parking lot) - had the look of a Chili's or Applebee's with a more Mexican flavor - which usually means that the food is not only unauthentic but not very good. I can't speak for every dish, however their Chili Verde was... More

This sad embarrassing bowl is what they call albondigas. For the 7.99 or 8.99 they charge for this, turn leave immediately and go to Los Sanchez or Casa Garcia in Garden Grove. This soup lacks the traditional squash, corn, cilantro and onions found in a true albondigas. They don't even serve the normal garnishes that accompany a good albondigas. There... More

Their chicken mole enchiladas are the best! I hadn't had them for a while and I'm happy to report that they were better than ever. The servings are generous with enchiladas the size of a small burritos. I've never had a bad meal here.

Chili Pepers is just around the corner from us, so when we are looking for a quick lunch of dinner we'll walk over. I like the place. It's clean and the service is efficient. The menu is massive. The beer is ice cold. The food is good and it is reasonably priced. My wife likens the food to what you... More

My husband and I went to Chili Peppers for dinner with some friends last night. For whatever reason, we've not been there for a couple of years. We've definitely been missing some fabulous Mexican food. Their Mole sauce is one of the two best I've ever had (Ricardo's Place in San Juan Capistrano, CA is the other). It's a fun... More

We were a party of eight, and two of the adults were having birthdays. We were given a corner table which had plenty of room, and a server who gave us lots of attention. It was fun when the waiters came over and sang "Happy Birthday" in Spanish. The food was good, although I believe the chips could have been... More

Had a family dinner, 2 adults and 2 kids, have been coming here for years and it always good. The theme is authentic "Mex" décor and uniformed wait staff. Staff were friendly and joking with the kids. Had a range of adult and kids meals all were good and excellent value for money.

Been going here for years for their daily specials, incredible chips and salsa, and all around fantastic south of the border food. What initially brought me to the restaurant is the incredible colors on the outside of the restaurant, and you literally can't miss the place. Just about everything on the menu is great and you can't go wrong no... More
