The Auld Dubliner Irish Pub was created to bring the spirit of a traditional Irish pub to the beautiful Sierra Mountains of California. With its dark wooden floors and authentic decor, the Auld Dubliner has the feel of a village pub in rural Ireland. It brings to life a culture of hearty food and drink, good music, warm hospitality, and friendly banter. We offer authentic Irish Fayre and American classics, with a menu selection ranging from Shepherd's Pie or Fish & Chips to our perfectly seared Ahi Tuna Salad. Appetizers, sandwiches, and burgers round out the menu, featuring Boar's Head premium sandwich meats and Painted Hills all natural grass-fed beef. Our new breakfast menu is sure to satisfy your hunger before you hit the slopes at world-class Squaw Valley Ski Resort. At the Auld Dubliner, we pour the "perfect pint" in 20-oz. Imperial pint glasses. You won't find a better Guinness on draught! We also feature Harp and Smithwicks on tap, as well as a huge selection of spirits and whiskeys, including Jameson, Bushmill's and Midleton Irish. The Auld Dubliner Irish Pub is located in the Village at Squaw Valley, at the base of Squaw Valley Ski Resort, and just minutes to beautiful Lake Tahoe. Come and join us!

Great Stew and Shepard's Pie for apres skiing!

Perfect for a cold day or after skiing! We decided we wanted a hearty dinner on a cold evening. We stopped at the Auld Dubliner for a bowl of beef stew and Shepard's Pie...both were delicious and hit the spot! A few days later we had the fish and chips and the potato leek soup both were... read more

Good Irish menu and quality food. Prompt service and reasonable prices. All this in a good pub atmosphere.

This is a great apres ski place, not too crowded on a Sat afternoon. Waiters are prompt and polite. Late night had a DJ and everyone was dancing and having a great time. All ages would enjoy this place when staying a squaw.

We ski in Squaw every winter and come to the Beer and Funkfest every summer and we always make it a point to hit the Auld Dubliner. The beer is awesome (of course), but the food is great, too. I always have a reuben with a side salad. The sandwich is stuffed with corned beef, swiss cheese and sauerkraut, but... More

Name was intriguing, so we went in! Nice selection for an Irish pub. Has something to please every palette. More of a "bar" atmosphere, but plenty of families dining as well. Live music on some nights, so it could get louder. Call ahead to check. Overall, go.

Went there for a night cap after skiing and dinner, had so much fun....ended up closing the joint! Bartender was great, made sure he kept the air out my glass at all times..........definitely be returning when in town or skiing.

Told we'd have a 30 minute wait. It was more like 1 hour and 20 minutes as we watched people who arrived after us get seated first. Once we finally did get a table, we waited 20 more minutes for our waiter to acknowledge us and take our order. THEN we waited....and waited....for our food as we watched others (seated... More

Wow, what a find, after a long day on the slopes skiing we decided to have diner here, what a great choice!! My wife had the Irish Stew and I had the Corn Beef and Cabbage, both were excellent. This is more of a pub than a restaurant, but family friendly. There was a wait since it was a Saturday... More

Great service, server was right there when needed. Fish and Chips were the best of the trip. Location is nice, outside seating and sports on TV.

Irish bar equals friendly staff and cool atmosphere right?? Not this place. It doesn't even look Irish and the staff doesn't even care to keep customers happy. We went in there at 11 am or so for lunch. Asked if they serve lunch. We sat there awhile before anyone offered us drinks and we were the only ones there!!! My... More
