The Auld Dubliner Irish Pub was created to bring the spirit of a traditional Irish pub to the beautiful Sierra Mountains of California. With its dark wooden floors and authentic decor, the Auld Dubliner has the feel of a village pub in rural Ireland. It brings to life a culture of hearty food and drink, good music, warm hospitality, and friendly banter.

We offer authentic Irish Fayre and American classics, with a menu selection ranging from Shepherd's Pie or Fish & Chips to our perfectly seared Ahi Tuna Salad. Appetizers, sandwiches, and burgers round out the menu, featuring Boar's Head premium sandwich meats and Painted Hills all natural grass-fed beef. Our new breakfast menu is sure to satisfy your hunger before you hit the slopes at world-class Squaw Valley Ski Resort.

At the Auld Dubliner, we pour the "perfect pint" in 20-oz. Imperial pint glasses. You won't find a better Guinness on draught! We also feature Harp and Smithwicks on tap, as well as a huge selection of spirits and whiskeys, including Jameson, Bushmill's and Midleton Irish.

The Auld Dubliner Irish Pub is located in the Village at Squaw Valley, at the base of Squaw Valley Ski Resort, and just minutes to beautiful Lake Tahoe. Come and join us!

Worth a Second Visit

On our recent trip to Squaw Valley we stopped by Auld Dubliner for a late lunch. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. Both our meals were very good. We liked it so much we went back for dinner on our second night. We lucked out and had the same waiter. It was so convenient to be able to walk... read more

A fun place to hang out. The food is rather heavy so if you are on a diet, lol. Great beer so who cares? Largest place to congregate in the village.

The drinks are well priced and the staff are lovely. The bar menu is great apes ski chow. Try the Curry Fries or Home made sausage rolls. There is Karaoke some nights and the football is usually on. Great atmosphere and great to meet people.

My wife and I visited this restaurant several times over the course of a week and this review is a summary of our experiences. When you first walk into this restaurant, there is a sign saying "Please Wait To Be Seated." Apparently, this sign is only for people new to this place. While we waited, other parties just walked in... More

We love Irish pubs and went in expecting great food. I had shepherds pie which is not that hard to mess up, but this one didn't really have the right flavor and gave me a belly ache afterward. It is very expensive. I asked another couple we walked out with if they enjoyed their food and they didn't either. We... More

For Squaw, the pub has cheap eats. Nothing fancy but its great comfort food. Went back for breakfast

Loved this place, especially in off hours as during lunch and dinner hours it is packed. Service is delightful. Prices are reasonable. Atmosphere is fun. I forgot my card after I paid and found that the staff had kept (along with many others) for safe and returned it after using my drivers license to id me. The restaurant is good... More
