Make this a stop.

Great selection of wines, single malts and other drinks. The menu is small but has something for everyone. The servings are large so be hungry. The food is excellent. After a hot and dusty horseback ride at Alpine Meadows (which was fun), we had lunch at the nearby Squaw Valley Resort. The Sandy Pub was open and we were pleasantly surprised by the fantastic food as well as the scenery. Nachos to die for. BLT with avocado was sensational. Service and view were second to none. Highly recommend this... More

Food was just ok- location obviously excellent- be prepared for poor service in general all over the lake- the talent pool for help is mostly 18-25 year old ski bumb types

Food was pretty good, but service was pretty awful (although friendly). Ate there twice, never got a refill on our drink either time. When it takes an hour to complete a meal in a mostly empty bar...and you can't even get a refill on your drinks...something's wrong. When they did notice or attend to us, they were very friendly.

The most reasonably-priced restaurant in the resort. Excellent deli sandwiches and a large variety of adult and non-alcoholic beverages to choose from.

We often stop here for lunch. Ski down past the squaw hotel run lift and walk down past the skating rink. Sit out side. It is sunny and right next to the hotel waterfall. Good spot for wine and a sandwich. Service can be slow, sometimes you have to go inside to round up a waiter.

Very friendly staff and great bar food. Great set up with fire pits. You can buy smore kits and make smores. Kids loved it.
