I made the reservations, asking for a window seat, which we got. The view of the Squaw Valley mountain was incredible. I ordered an heirloom tomato salad which was outstanding. They put a couple of very thinly sliced crisped tomatoes on top that I thought were better than potato chips, which I love!. Had the pork tenderloin/pork belly for dinner... More

Fantastic service, delicious food. Steak was amazing, one year we tried elk and buffalo, both also excellent, and I had my first ever baked alaska here - made to perfection, of course. On the pricier side, so not somewhere to eat every night perhaps, but definitely must-visit during your stay!

The food. And the drinks... different, but approachable menu, with tasty food. Even if you don't think it's going to be busy, make a reservation and request a window table if you can.

Mediocre food. The salad and the soup we had were just OK, the filet mignon was certainly not prime and not well trimmed -- it had some connective tissue still attached. The venison tasted livery rather than gamey. What they call Tarte Tatin is a 2 inch circle of pastry in a pool of caramel sauce on which there is... More

The food and customer service were great! I ordered the tortellini..., yum! The only drawback were the size of the plates. Being from Texas we're used to everything being big or plentiful. For the price we figured we were going to be served a little more than we did. So if you're looking for quality over quantity then this is... More

Good selection, good service, very relaxing environment and pretty decent prices, considering you're at Tahoe. Food was promptly served, but courses were not on top of each other. I like their menu.

In a resort in a ski valley you are at the mercy of the owners by and large, so this restaurant might not have to try so hard, and whilst it does charge it also delivers exceptionally good food beautifully presented. We had duck, venison and filet mignon entrees, all were excellent, but the desserts too were great, try the... More
