Description: At JJ's, we bake our own breads, pastries, pies, cookies, and more. We cure our own corned beef and smoke our own pastrami and pulled pork. Our burgers are made from a 1/2 lb of locally-grown, grass-fed Black Angus and served on a fresh-baked bun. Come on up and join us. You won't go away hungry!

Little hometown type cafe. We stopped for breakfast and received great service. I would definitely stop here again...

This little gem is a great breakfast spot. We have eaten here sever times over the past years. There are new owners this year but the quality and quantity of the meals are just the same. Great start for a day of fishing or hunting at Old Station. They also bake and make sandwiches. Great Stuff

I really wanted to like this place. We stopped for lunch on a day that apparently had been steadily busy. Although there are only 7 small tables in the place, and two were empty, the waitress seemed very frazzled and fussed about how busy they were. We both ordered the locally made corned beef (they were out of their 'special'... More

I stopped here because I needed gas and the only gas station in this area is also located in Old Station. I was more than pleased with my breakfast and JJ's service. Nice place, with an unusually clean rest room. For anyone passing through Old Station (Lassen park) on Highway 89 this would be a good place to stop for... More

We ate dinner here twice, at the end of the summer season. The Friday night pizza was excellent, with a good crust. We had hearty hamburgers the next night. The house-baked cookies were good, and the other bakery items looked tasty.

Very friendly, great food. Best Clam chowder ever. Eating the whole hamburger is a challenge. Most people will need a doggie bag.

Nice little cafe in an area with few restaurants. After camping for several days, my husband and son wanted to eat at a restaurant. Even though I didn't join in the meal, I can state that they both enjoyed their meals, and I enjoyed the friendly atmosphere. One had a grass fed beef, locally raised hamburger with fries, and the... We stopped here for breakfast while visiting Lassen Volcanic Park (about 10 minutes away). I had the Classic Breakfast and was pleasantly surprised when the food arrived. The toast was from homemade wheat bread. The fried potatoes were chopped up potatoes that were fried (sounds normal enough, but so many places have gone to frozen). The service was very friendly... JJ’s friendly manager and staff provided prompt service and good quality food at reasonable prices when we stopped for lunch on our way to Lassen Volcanic National Park. Be aware that JJ’s has limited hours and closes several days a week as early as 3 pm.

We stopped for lunch on our road trip. We ate the bacon burger and the Corned beef sandwich. Both were very tasty and reasonable size portions. The service was very friendly but a bit scatty as they were quite busy. A good place to stock up your calories with great flavour!
