Great tapas

Enjoyed our tapas at Azu - especially the croquettes. What impressed us most was the reasonably priced yet varied wine list. The service was very good - waiter was quite attentive to our needs.

Azu is my first call for business dinner reservations and "take our time" family/friends nights out ! Beginning with the by name greeting at the door the management shows their hospitality and the creative menu always has us egar to begin sampling a variety of flavors and foods. Wait staff is attentive and quick to get drink orders in and... More

We spent some in Ojai and happened upon Azu for lunch. We were not sorry. My partner ordered the soup of the day along with the lamb slider - both were delicious...I ordered the ratatouille melt on sourdough - again very good and huge! We didn't linger for dessert but overall our impression of Azu was more than positive. Seemed... More

We happened on this place this past weekend while enjoying Ojai for a few hours. We enjoyed a table inside - a very cool building with art on all the walls. A great looking bar! Our tacos and Rueben were excellent. Their bloody mary's just so-so. No flavor but the spice. We like a fuller flavored drink, not just vodka... More

We stopped in for a quick lunch at the end of our trip to southern California and on our way to the LAX airport. Azu was recommended to us by one of the other shop owners in Ojai. We sat outside and enjoyed the nice weather, tomato soup, braised rib tacos (some of the best my husband has had), and... More

At the time of our travels, the bottomless mimosas were $12 per person. Great deal as far as i'm concerned since they used fresh squeezed orange juice! We were accidentally served some pixie juice since it was right in season but i liked the sweetness of the orange juice a little more. I had the quinoa hash with fried eggs... More

Hummus was the best I've ever had. Seafood Paella was spot on. Steven, our server, was professionally personable and patient.

Love the atmosphere and the Spanish derived menu. We usually go for the tapas making sure the bacon wrapped dates and the fries with aoili are part of the list. The noise can sometimes get a bit much when it's full, but we've always held this as a special place for that dinner with a little something special
