The Oak seems to have died in the recent drought. It was magnificent... Food out on the terrace is really well made for all meals. And the breakfasts are notably wonderful too. It is kept nice and warm by heaters even though the temperature at breakfast time this New Years week was just about freezing outside.

Truly enjoyed our lunch. The scenery was beautiful and menu very tasty. We had the Brussels sprouts, linguine with shrimp and fish sandwich. All dishes were very delicious. Great way to spend a few hours.

We loved the heated patio and our dinner was extra special. Wait staff was attentive to our anniversary celebration but not overbearing. A lovely evening on the property.

This is a serene place to have a "starlit" night dinner or a relaxing leisurely lunch. The food is excellent, the service impeccable and the ambiance which makes one feel that it should never end.

Typical over priced hotel food. The steak was great and the sides were okay. There was no ambiance at all. Felt like a bright chilly cafeteria. The staff was super nice and it was convenient while staying there. But it was our 20th anniversary so we were disappointed to have to eat inside due to the cold weather. Not romantic... More

We've only eaten breakfast and lunch here. Each time it has been very good. We love the relaxing patio location. For breakfast, we highly recommend the excellent huevos rancheros. If you like pancakes, the blueberry pancakes are very good. For lunch, we've enjoyed the tortilla soup, steak salad and the California avocado wrap.

We had breakfast on the patio here. I ordered the egg white omelet with half fruit, half breakfast potatoes. Everything was very good, including the coffee. The food is pretty good but pricey and they had small portions. make sure you're not in a hurry, Everything took extremely long even though it wasn't busy! Part of your enjoyment of your... More

The outdoor patio with heaters is very nice on a chilly evening. Dinner was romantic and the food and wine were excellent. We had just finished having a massage and were in a state of bliss which helped the spell. The roasted brussels sprouts and halibut were excellent. Service was very attentive.

Casual dining on a covered patio with view of golf course. There are heaters overhead for cold nights, although we still needed a sweater since it was 40 degrees! One server was offering blankets for those that weren't prepared for the cold evening. The service is a tad slower yet nicely paced our evening. Ask for Fabiola, she is delightful.... More

My friends and I had a reservation at the Oak and were greeted by an unfriendly hostess that kept us waiting for about 10 min before we could get seated. Once we finally got our table, the girl who were going to get us blankets and turn up the heater never came back. The food was excellent and our server... More
