We tried to eat here on a Sunday night, but the crowd for the live music outside was so large, there was no place to park. So we went back the next day for lunch. This is a fun place to go in and see what's fresh in their organic market. The food was okay. Not spectacular, but healthy.

Ojai has a ton of great eateries. But when you need to get away from all the heavy meals, Farmer & Cook has numerous options for a light, refreshing snack or meal. I've tried their salad bar, their veggie burger, juevos rancheros, acai bowl, and cacao/almond smoothie. All of them were amazing. Their salad bar veers away from the typical... More

I was delighted to visit Farmer & Cook, one of many natural and vegan-friendly food joints in Ojai, California. But this one sets the bar. Not only does it have a great selection of organic produce that I picked up to make the perfect vegan stew, but they fearlessly display in their front window that they DO NOT support GMOs... More

I arrived at 6 p.m. and there were only a few other tables seating. I asked the server about the wines and she was not really knowledgable and just said "try the Merlot". I ordered a salad and a pizza. After 25 minutes the salad arrived. The server didn't say a word just dropped it off and never said anything... More

I can't wait to return to Ojai just to come to this place again! A beautiful, relaxed low key place serving THE most delicious vegan food. Mexican inspired, seriously tasty(hard to find as a vegan), locally sourced(the farmer is the owner!) food. We had lunch there and just had to return for breakfast the next day. Their breakfast burritos are... More

We visited on Saturday evening when they serve a evening Special Menu . We reserved our outside table and the food was lovely. I had soup of the day and Vegano Pizza. The service was excellent and we had a great time enjoying the atmosphere. It was very busy with many people arriving and having takeouts. You must have a... More

If you are a vegetarian or a Vegan or someone who just cares about what you put into your body, this place is a must for you! Everything here is fresh -- I mean farm fresh kinda fresh! The veggies on my Vegano pizza were grilled and delicious and the veggie burger with the banana chutney was incredible! Highly recommend... More

I love to try different foods in different places and this was different. A vegetarian restaurant in a town I have never visited. It was fun. The food choice was eclectic, the atmosphere more so. A higgledy piggledy sort of place with a comfortable choice of organic vegetarian delights. The tomato and potato soup is to be recommended and could... More

Very nice place, the food was decent the pizza was a good decent portion. The guacamole was really awesome. The best part was the store that is connected to the restaurant.

Came here for lunch yesterday with family and had a lovely time. The place has a great atmosphere and is dog friendly. We sat outside in the sunshine and spoke to some of the friendly regulars. I had the Goat Cheese and squash tacos which were very tasty. The beans, red rice and cultured salad it came with were also... More
