Mimi’s is an attractive and very popular restaurant that came highly recommended by relatives living in Oceanside. I can’t imagine why. It took forever to get served and to put it charitably the food was disappointing. I ordered the “crispy parmesan crusted chicken”. I have eaten there many times and every time was great! You have to try their muffins...it doesn't matter which one...they're all wonderful! I really like the quiche there...yummy! They also have a vegetarian sandwich that is fabulous! I just found out before I started writing this review that Mimi's Cafe is a chain. I never would have guessed that.... more

It is a chain restaurant but as chains go, it's pretty good. There is something for everyone, even healthy choices, the children's menu is amazing, and their muffins are fantastic. A good family choice. more
