Had a very good lunch here. Waitress was extraordinarily attentive and made sure that the coffee met my expectations. The special treat here was an "ahi tuna stack" with layers of tuna, chopped mango, pickled ginger, etc. - delicious appetizer which I split with one other. Then moved to the mahi mahi fish tacos - also very good. Nice view... More

Location is wonderful, sitting outside at water's edge, sunshine, who could ask for anything more, except perhaps good food. It's always disappointing when restaurants capitalize on nostalgia or local history and lose track of their #1 priority, food. The fish and chips were just "ok", ditto the fish tacos. I wish one could rave about this place as it has... More

We enjoyed a delicious Sunday Brunch at Monterey Bay Canners. It had a great selection of seafood as well as all the other breakfast items. The champagne and orange flowed freely. It was so good I wished I could have eaten more as everything was so delicious.

Four of us were here for happy hour. We went twice and all-in-all we enjoyed ourselves. Both evenings we were greeted warmly and seated immediately not too easy since one in our party uses a wheelchair. One evening my wife and I had a sourdough chowder bowl and a Caesar salad with average margaritas to wash it all down with.... More

Love the happy hour here. We go to it often. Service is always good - the waitresses are really nice. The bands are great Fri night, but we go there primarily for the great food and wonderful view of the harbor.

They used to have a wonderful Sunday Brunch but then took it away for a year or so. I took my 87 yr old mother in there and I was excited to see the brunch back, but my mom eats like a bird so I asked if there was a senior discount they said , "Oh yes", so I fugured... More

Got there for happy hour with $4 apps and drinks, live band beautifull views. What more can you ask for . The service was a bit slow, took a while for the waitress to come and take our orders. She kept walking by us as if we were invisible, after 20 minutes, my husband ased if this was a "... More

I've been here several times before and the last time I decided not to go back. I use to enjoy it but that was before the price increases and poor service and mediocre food. However, I heard that they had new owners and were remodeling and making changes so I decided to try it again. I really wanted to like... More

My wife and I along with four other family members went to the Monterey Bay Canners to hear the live music of Rob Mehl. This guy is great!! His music is very refreshing and easy to listen to. I highly recommend going to listen to him if you can. He performed outside on the patio. There was lots of room... More
