Where I live, the fish in "fish and chips" often has a bread crumb or panko coating. Here I can find what I call fish and chips done the right way-a puffy batter definitely deep fried. It may be a bit greasy but it is delicious and a treat I seldom get. We have stopped here several times when traveling... More

Whenever I'm in Oceanside, I make sure I stop by Harbor Fish and Chips, and order me a two piece Fish n Chips. I sub the fries with a Salad, but, Man oh Man, are the Fish tasty!!!!! Nice and crispy coating, not overly too greasy, and the fish inside, tastes very good!!!!!! I always look forward in eating here,... More

Eating here is like being in a cafeteria. Not much on the menu, thought fish would be better for a place right on the harbor and prices are high for what you get. Would not return.

This place (and their other location in Carlsbad) has the best fish & chips in North County. In San Diego, only Anthony's is their equal.

Located in the Oceanside Harbor area, this little place is nice for a quick bite to eat. Their fish & chips are delicious and their coleslaw is good too.

This is not your up-scale seafood restaurant. It is a friendly, low key, mom and pop operation which serves up great old fashioned fish and chips. The prices are right and the people who run the shop are great.

Stand in line place your order, and get ready to enjoy a freshly made seafood dinner. A bit of a line and you need to grab our own condiments. Great view of the harbor.

I can't say these are this place beats fresh Alaskan fish and chips or fried clams, but they sure are good. I almost always take friends here when they are new to town. The food is good, service is fast, and its a calm place with a worry free feel. Prices aren't bad either, and portions are large! Inside the... More

If you like fish and chips you'll like this restaurant! With a view of the harbor and the kitschy feel of a drive-in, this very casual place has great fish and seafood! It felt a bit overwhelming with a very long line- it's sort of a self-serve joint, the line moves quickly and the food is well worth it. Not... More

Great fish. Outside tables. Friendly pelicans. Kids can watch the fishing boats coming in. Always interesting people at the Harbor.
