Though this place has some GREAT qualities, I was quite disappointed with the fish - kinda like Long John Silvers IMO. Fish WAS large pieces (3 pc fish basket $13 served with one side item). Cooked well and oil was fresh - if THAT'S what YOU are looking for... you'll be happy. I expected more. No seasoning directly on fish.... More

I am English and just love my fish n chips. This place won't disappoint. the fish is always good with perfect batter. my friend ordered the clam chowder and said it was one of the best she had had. I always have to order fried pineapple rings as my mother used to do these for us as kids, so it... More

I live in Oceanside and I love this place for fish and chips. I love to sit outside and look at the harbor while eating and having a cold beer. During the summer months this place can become very hectic, but the service is still great! The cole slaw and chowder are also fresh and delicious.

Stopped in here for a snack. Fish was delicious and a great value. Huge portions. Took it out and went to beach for sunset. Great location. Staff was very helpful.

A novel approach to F&C restaurant - it's effectively a take-away with seating inside and out. The food was very good and the owner very helpful as when I asked for a small and a medium dinner and he suggested that I just order one large size with three fish and saved around $5.

You can pick one, two or three pieces of fish. I was going to go with three, but then I saw the size of them on someone else's order and decided on two. They were huge. The fish and breading was perfect. I highly recommend this place if you like fish and chips!

Each piece of fish is about 12 inches long! I had the Captain's Plate which was 2 pieces of fish, 2 shrimps and 1 side (slaw, fries or chowder). My companion had the Sampler Platter which was 1 piece of fish, 1 shrimp, fries, slaw AND chowder. The fish is most excellent and the shrimp were OK. Their list of... More

Basic, good fish and chips or very good black beans or coleslaw (too much mayo.) Good prices and a fun location on the harbor, but not worth a long drive for, there's better places in San Diego.
