Kurando was the best sushi restaurant around for many years. When the restaurant was sold to a Korean company, it really has gone down the toilet. What a terrible shame this restaurant was ruined by completely changing everything including the menu. I only hope I can find my two favorite sushi chefs working at another fine sushi bar. more

This is the most authentic Japanese cuisine in north San Diego. It is always full of Japanese patrons. The sushi is excellent and very fresh. The price for the sushi is higher than some all-you-can-eat buffets but the quality is far superior. The non-sushi menu is a little bit limited. Overall a great place for a meal. more
