Amazing.

Weekend stay in Oceanside brought us here. Everything was amazing...food, service, atmosphere. Met owner who was very welcoming and polite. Went on a Friday, was busy; able to get a table in ten minutes. Great craft beer selection and food was great! Clean and great vibe!

We stumbled upon this place and we were pleasantly surprised. It is hidden away on a side street in Oceanside. It serves only beer and wine but has a good selection of craft beers and the wine selection looked to be more than adequate. The atmosphere itself is simple and eclectic. The menu reflects the atmosphere from steak to fish.... More

While visiting Oceanside it was strongly recommended we try this place. Awesome vibe, cool decor, we waited a while to get a table so I recommend you book or arrive early. Tried some super cocktails while waiting and service was prompt and friendly. Every item on the menu looked mouth watering, my friends all ordered the beet salad and said... More

We have dined here 3 or 4 times. Love the food, esp. the pork belly and the burgers. Always had great service. Diverse wine list reasonably priced. It can be noisy but that is part of the charm. My only regret is that we don't live closer.

We tried this restaurant with an open mind. Not particularly happy with the location. The inside of the restaurant is a wide open room which I would think can become very noisy, it is also dark inside. We went for Sunday brunch which is served off menu and the waitress noted specials. Our food was served promptly but neither my... More

This is a "Gastro Pub" located 1 block west of PCH. A little hard to find but well worth it. Recommend ordering the pork chop with fried egg for one's first visit, but everything is excellent.

I drove by this place a few times since Ive lived in the area the last cpl weeks and I was not unimpressed. The brunch menu is very simple and does not leave you flooded with a ton of choices. The atomsphere is down to earth setting. It's clean, the staff are great. I ordered the burger with regular cheddar... More

We were told by our local friends that we lucked out in getting seated as quickly as we did on the prime-time Friday when we visited. The dining room is moderately crowded and noisy, but we had a great waiter who was willing to engage with our wise-guy friend (which was worth the price of admission in itself). The pork... More

As a North County resident I had heard a lot of good things about the Flying Pig. A pub! In Oceanside! On a side street behind the 101 Diner. WOW. The pub is tres tres hip, and tres tres loud. I MEAN LOUD. No conversation LOUD. But, my smoked pork sandwich was delicious, and so was the flatbread. The mac... More
