Homemade tortillas, family love. This place may not look like much, but its legacy speaks in volumes. Definitely the best Mexican food in Oceano.

This is a small place that mainly caters to take out orders but also has some plastic tables and chairs. My husband and I shared the Chacho special burrito and it is absolutely amazing. The tortilla was thick and homemade. Probably the best I have ever had. The guacamole is great too. The people who work there couldn't be nicer.... More

was expecting much more from recommendations from friends. The portions were small and the taste was average at best. Maybe just went in on a bad day.

It was small inside, however the food was authentic ( I am Mexican by the way) It was delicious and you have to try the almost unheard of HOMEMADE burrito sized tortillas. Who cares if it's small inside, take it to go.

Had heard a lot about Chaco's and decided to try for lunch one day, very small, and don't plan to east "inside" no room. The food is good and home made, however have to say nothing extra special or something to write home about. Best experienced for take out, usually a few people there in line at lunch, appears to... The reviewer below me must have eaten a block over at the cock roach store/restaurant. Chachos is one of my all time favorites, I've been eating there since I was a small child. The thing that sets them apart is their home made tortillas whIch are made to order for all the food. Alot of Mexican restaurants mask the flavor... More

It's hit or miss. it's a little family run hole in the wall mexican food restuarant and Yes, It's in the ghetto. I recommend trying Chaco's at least once, you may love them. The food is filling and usually tasty, but I reccommend getting it to-go.

As if the outside and inside wasn't a big enough clue, the food matched the quality. THis place is disgusting right in the middle of a ghetto town. How often does the health inspector go by, apparently never! We had grissly, fatty meat in the burrito which was so small, a chile reno the size of a jalepeno soacked in... More

This little hole in the wall is to die for!! Hand made flour tortillas on the burritos and that guacamole is incredible. Anyone that disagrees has been breathing that LA smog for too long

We recently moved into town, and we have tried several places in the area. We have yet to find something decent. This place was recommended by several people, obviously they dont really know real mexican food, or they just havent been to Los Angeles, I DONT KNOW what. This is your usual hole in the wall type of place, no... More
