Visited on a busy evening and because we had not made an early reservation we had a small bistro table by the bar which turned out find. Our food and wine were both excellent. We should have shared as we couldn't finish our dinners.

My recent trip to Sonoma was a nice mix. Our base camp was Occidental, a charming little township founded in 1876 on the Bohemian Highway. We stayed at The Inn at Occidental, a first-rate 16-room Victorian bed and breakfast in the heart of town. From the inn you can stroll the tiny town. There are several restaurants in the area...

Wonderful dining experience at this littlr French Bistro. Thursday night is bring your own bottle with no corkage charge. Cozy intimate and great food. Quint little town of Occidental is worth the ride to.
This was our second dining experience at the Bistro and it was every bit as wonderful as the last time! My wife had thier Petrale soul and it was delicious. I had the hanger steak which was outstanding and melted in the mouth. The service was exceptional from the moment we walked in, through the first-class treatment we received from...

We started with ousters on the half shell. And had fresh petrale sole. Lightly sautéed. The server, Julia was cheerful and attentive. The bathrooms were outside the building so I was not eager to brave a trip in the rain but the food and staff was worth the visit
This restaurant is a wonderful find. Located on the north end of the main street in Occidental it has been serving wonderful county French food for what seems to be a very long time. We never get tire of taking a drive to the coast and then head back through Occidental to have a trip finishing meal. Try the Escargot...

All I can say is WOW! Our bike tour group enjoyed our last night's dinner in this really superb bistro. The food is a good as anything in The City! Hard to find wines from the County are a plus. The kitchen is so tiny! How do they do it?
Great food, amazing wine list and imaginative menu...very French and very delicious. The desserts were simply the best...very friendly staff and seems to be a very popular spot...hard to get a table on a weeknight. Loved it...will be back
We were referred here by our hotel (Inn at Occidental). The french onion soup was yummy, but the soup of the day left something to be desired. We also had the lamb burger which was good - nothing incredible. Nice servers and decor.
We live in Napa and went to this lovely little restaurant on Thursday, which is "Locals Day," when you can bring your own bottle, and the corkage fee is waived (for Sonoma wines). Thursday is also the day when you can get an artistic and elegant meal for only $29 for the prix fix menu. We stop by here on...
