Our family of six [3 kids] arrived here on a Sunday night about 6:00. 2 other couples were seated at the opposite end of the dining hall. We washed our hands in the clean restroom (no rose -water ritual). No entertainment. One kind waitress. There is a $25 dinner, which the adults and one teen-aged boy ordered. It comes with... More

We've eaten in every Moroccan restaurant in the Bay Area over the last 35 yrs. In June 2011 we had a decent first dinner at Tanjia - the entrees were so-so, but the mixed platter starter and bastillas (we had both seafood and chicken) were very good. We returned in Jan 2012 to a terrible experience. The bastillas are made... More

Dined on 9-3-11. Food and service was good. Lamb w/prunes was lean and tender. Only complaint is that Tanjia has not decreased the sales tax charged from 9.75% to 8.75%. We and all customers were overcharged 1% on the total food bill. Does the restaurant keep the excess when they pay their sales tax to California? Everyone - check your... More

We were excited to eat at Tanjia. The food wasnt very good at all. Very salty. Entertainment was too loud and not very good. Would not recommend.

Great place for groups - had my b-day dinner here. They gave us a combo entree plate for each table which was great since then we could sample everything - and because my mom had set it up beforehand the food came quickly and was plentiful - great food & atmosphere especially for the price. Everyone said how much they... More

If you want to experience the true moroccan cuisine with the fairy tale ambience of the thousand and one night, Le Tanjia is the perfect place to go. As the friendly waiters serve you delights from the chef such as vegetable pastilla, tanjia, couscous, you let yourself be enchanted by the belly dancers show. On top of that the decoration... More

Love this place. Good moraccan food, it looks like a Berber tent inside. They have bellydancing. Great for large groups.
