Always fun and delicious

We love Pizzaiolo- have never had a bad experience. Cocktails are excellent, meatballs, salads and pasta always great, and of course delicious pizza! Fun, happening ambience and great music, too. Sister restaurant Boot & Shoe also recommended (try it for a lazy Saturday brunch).

Calling it a pizza place is totally not correct. So much more. We eat here often. The place is dark (and probably avoid really hot nights as little air handling capacity) yet very happy, and the pizza is only part of the food experience. We also enjoy the eclectic selection of music playing as it is almost surely employee shared... More

Excellent pasta, salad...Very creative. I have been there 3 times and I am impressed every time I go .Service is good but the restaurant itself could use some face lifting....It is alittle bit too crowded. As a diner , I would like to see more room around the tables but they have to maximize the space they have . If they... More

I travel frequently worldwide. I have been to Spain, Macau, London, Singapore, Italy and the Middle East in the last year. I believe Pizzaiola is one of the 5 best restaurants I have eaten at worldwide. The food was fresh, creative, and very tasty! The menu of homemade cocktails was very interesting and tasty as well. It was a 'homey'... More

Good antipasto, pasta. Excellent salad. Friendly atmosphere, informal, high quality ingredients. All the dishes we ordered were fresh and freshly cooked.

Good pizzas. Excellent bread made on premises but you have to ask for it. Salmon dinner was okay. Persimmon salad was okay. Go for the pizza and the bread.

I heard so many great things about this restaurant that I was surprised when we had dinner there recently. The food was alright. The salad was unusual that the flavors of tomatoes and beans did not taste good together. The décor is urban gritty, the music was annoying (loud string jazz), we could hardly hear the others at our table... More

Had the opportunity to try Pizzaiola last night. Arrived as the restaurant was opening so we were seated immediately. From the hostess, the servers and everyone that interacted with us, our experience was excellent. We shared an heirloom salad and a margarita pizza, with a side of polenta. Everything was delicious, including their homemade sausage on half of the pie.... More

They not only serve a large variety of pizzas (we had one with tomatoes, padron peppers, pancetta and grana) also delicious frisee salad, and one with bib lettuce, green goddess dressing; mussels with tagliatelle and saffron; pasta arrabiata with guanciale. They have 2 roooms and a patio.

the restaurant is a nice location. its charming, comfy and friendly. but to be a good and typicle italien place, this is not enough. even if the food tasts good, which it does, it is not ok if the prices rise so high, that the food can not taste good any more. pizza for 17dollar, spaghetti starting from 16dollar, and...
