We visited while waiting to go to dinner down the street. Nothing fancy but good list of micro beers and they have seating outside with table heaters which was nice once we were in the shade. We didnt have anything to eat as they offer only a variety of pizza, but with no appetizers. It was popular and people seemed... More

This places pizza is awesome. The only place that has comparable pizza in Oakland is Arizmendi's, but they don't deliver and only have one kind of pizza each day. I'd have to give the edge to Lanesplitters, especially if you're a fan of NY style pizza.

quality has gone down hill and price gone up. service is bad. with all the great pizza in town, i don't think they splitter is worth it. they used to have a rotating cast keg, no longer, it's a shame. they do have some good pints on tap, but they cost more than the should.

Great pizza and beer with a low key atmosphere. They have a great beer selection to go with their really good thin crust pizza. Ummmm

I'm a vegetarian and I love the Chicane and Herbivore pizzas. They are delish! The crust is thin and the tomato sauce is not bland. The place in Oakland can accommodate large families and or groups. In addition, they have alcohol for the grown and sexy. The staff is uber friendly. Parking can be a little crazy, but you can... More

The neopolitan slice with fresh tomato and basil is delicious!! Especially if you get a side of the roasted garlic dressing to dip your crust in!

As a New Yorker, I am always searching for east coast style pizza- well, this is it ( well maybe it's a little too healthy to be authentic). The crust is so thin you can eat a whole pie by yourself. Great sauce and cheese too, and I enjoy their salads and pasta dishes. The service is usually good. The... More

Oakland is one of the top food destinations in the country right now according to the New York times so why would anyone eat this pizza? Because it's convenient? Because it's budget friendly? Because they haven't tasted better yet? Pizza tasteless, salad dry wilted greens with an over-vinegared drizzle on top that must toss yourself to distribute. Skip it please... More

I went in to order a slice and the guy would not answer my questions, mumbled and did not make eye contact. I'd been before and the bar staff was not very nice either. Slice was okay. Need a more diverse beer selection too.
